J.B. Institute of Engineering & Technology: My Journey

Overall Rating
J.B. Institute of Engineering & Technology has good infrastructure and lush green campus. Our institute will provide lots of amenities to the students. Institute will provide good campus placements. Faculty will explain the subject based on real world applications. Our institute is very friendly to the students.
 

Academics Rating
I have chosen Artificial Intelligence and Data Science in J.B. Institute of Engineering & Technology. Because now a day’s Artificial Intelligence has very good craze in the software market. We have to write the entrance exam called EAMCET which is conducted by the state government. The student who got the merit rank will be eligible to enroll in this institute. In my course exams will be conducted semester wise.
We have to pay the institute fee of amount Rs. 1,10,000 per year. There is another Rs. 15,000 should be paid for the admission fees and in which library fee is included. There will be no separate lab fees. Students will get scholarship from the state government who has enrolled in this institute through entrance exam. The general category students will get Rs. 35,000 scholarship. Based on the category students will get scholarships.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty of J.B. Institute of Engineering & Technology is very friendly and jovial with the students. Our institute faculties are highly educated from the top universities. Their designations are Ph.D, doctorates and post graduates. They will explain the subject based on the real world applications. Teacher will explain by presenting in the ppts and also involve students in the group discussions. The faculty will be more for the already existing branches.
 

Placement Rating
The Highest package in our institute is 6 Lakh Per Annum. The lowest package in our institute is 2 LPA and the average package in our institute is 4 Lakh Per Annum. J.B. Institute of Engineering & Technology will help the students by providing campus recruitment training from the 2nd year itself. They will give training for interview attending, etc.
 

Hostel Rating
Our institute has separate hostel blocks for both boys and girls. Boy’s hostel block can accommodate over 500 students. And the girl’s hostel block can accommodate over 300 students. There will be Rs. 1,00,000 per year as the hostel fees. Students cannot go out without the permission. They will have washing machine and high internet connectivity.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Our institute has good infrastructure. Our institute is surrounded by lush green surroundings. Our institute campus is in 22 acres of land. We have many clubs in our institute. We have Digital classrooms and digital library in our institute. Labs are with high internet connectivity. We have open air auditorium in our institute. Our institute is under the CCTV surveillance every time.
 

Campus Rating
There is no ragging in our institute if students found guilty they will be terminated from the institute. We have different clubs in our institute. We have SAC which is called Student Activity Centre which conducts the events in our institute. Our institute conducts fests every year in the month of March. Students are not allowed after the institute timings in our institute.

    If you are thinking about joining this Institute then honestly, it is a very good choice. The biggest advantage is that the Institute provides good placement training.     Firstly, I was expecting sports in the college because I was interested in sports so much, but sports were not there in first year it is a restriction, faculty was average some faculty are good and others don't even know minimum about their subject, fests were not there as compared to other colleges they are very rare, the maintenance of the college is not good like washrooms for boys....     The college is just average, don't expect about free internships in second year you have to do it outside or paid internships inside the college and fests are even rare as compared to other colleges. Only 1 fest happen as of my 1st year and sports are just good, there is no chance to participate in 1st year!... Read Full Review

    My personal experience at this Institute is average so far. One thing that they need to improve is the placements. The infrastructure and the environment are good. One good thing that the Institute has is that it conducts hackathons on regular basis for the students. It helps students develop their skills and also provide good knowledge to them.
