My Personal Experience at JBIET Hyderabad

Overall Rating
My personal experience at this Institute is average so far. One thing that they need to improve is the placements. The infrastructure and the environment are good. One good thing that the Institute has is that it conducts hackathons on regular basis for the students. It helps students develop their skills and also provide good knowledge to them. You can also take admission in this Institute if you also want to develop your skills.
 

Academics Rating
I have done B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning from this Institute. I chose it because of its growing demand. It will help me secure good job in future. For admission, the students have to score below 1,00,000 in TS EAMCET entrance exam. After that, the students have to submit the documents such as Income Certificate, Caste Certificate, passport size photograph, etc. In one semester, 2 exams are conducted such as mid semester exams and end semester exams. The academics always helped me.
At my time, the fee of course ranges from Rs. 35,000/- to Rs. 40,000/- per semester. The tuition fee was Rs. 30,000/-. The students also had to pay the admission fee which was of Rs. 15,000/-. The students can also avail the Government scholarship.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members are very good. They have done Ph.D or Doctorate level of education. They have good knowledge in their respective field and they teach the topics in a very understandable manner. The teaching methods include blackboard, PPTs, etc. My bonding with the teachers was good. They usually don’t talk much to the students. Overall, they are good and solve all the doubts of the students.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, there is a placement cell. The placements are not up to the mark. The cell provides placement training to the students of 2nd and 3rd year. My placement experience was average.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, JBIET Hyderabad provides hostel facilities to the students. The infrastructure of the hostel is pretty good. There are separate hostel for both male and female students. The mess is also there but the quality of food is not up to the mark. It provides 4 times meals a day such as breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner. There are around 55 rooms and in each room 3 students can live. The hostel fee is ranges from Rs. 45,000/- to Rs. 48,000/- per year. All the students are required to enter the hostel by 6:00 PM. My personal experience at the hostel was good.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus is spread over 106 acres of land and it is located in a very peaceful environment. The academic blocks are good. The students of first year have separate academic block. There are library, labs, seminar hall, auditorium, conference hall, etc. Canteen is also there but it is not that huge. The Institute also provides sports facilities to the students. Transportation and security guards are also present at the campus.
 

Campus Rating
My campus life experience till now is average. There are around 5000 to 10,000 students studying in this Institute. There are various clubs such as Language club, Media club, etc. NSS unit is also available. I was not the part of any of these but I have participated in Ideathon in my first year. The Institute organise fest once in a year. DJ night is also organised for the students.

    If you are thinking about joining this Institute then honestly, it is a very good choice. The biggest advantage is that the Institute provides good placement training. I would suggest that you should do proper research before joining this Institute. The Institute also provides various facilities which the students need to make their learning better.     J.B. Institute of Engineering & Technology has good infrastructure and lush green campus. Our institute will provide lots of amenities to the students.     Firstly, I was expecting sports in the college because I was interested in sports so much, but sports were not there in first year it is a restriction, faculty was average some faculty are good and others don't even know minimum about their subject, fests were not there as compared to other colleges they are very rare, the maintenance of the college is not good like washrooms for boys....     The college is just average, don't expect about free internships in second year you have to do it outside or paid internships inside the college and fests are even rare as compared to other colleges. Only 1 fest happen as of my 1st year and sports are just good, there is no chance to participate in 1st year!... Read Full Review

    Yes, our JBIT college is a good college we can get knowledge practically through labs. In our college there is separate building for workshops and labs.
