My Personal Views on Inderprastha Engineering College

Overall Rating
In my opinion, Inderprastha Engineering College is great if you are just here for some academics and study. It will provide you all the necessary things such as facility, infrastructure, etc. It is a 3rd tier college.
 

Academics Rating
I chose B.Tech CSE DS. I took direct admission in the college on my merit basis. You should prepare for JEE for some decent marks and preference. Academics are just to help you learn about the core subject. You should prepare and maintain a CGPA of above 7 in your college in each semester to get eligible for sitting on placement drives. Many students are very skilled but couldn't sit in placement because they can't fulfill the percentage/CGPA criteria.
Faculty of Inderprastha Engineering College is qualified. They can be better in many ways such as teaching style, etc.
 

Faculty Rating
I would rate 6/10 to the faculty. Faculty dont really helps you, there are very few teachers who actually helps you, supports you and be your back bone but more than that i have seen teachers who are selfish, egoistic, will poke you everytime for the mistake you made a year ago. The faculty will come and teach you dont expect anything anything extra , you can ask doubts once but cant twice. But also there are few teachers who are very polite which is very rare, depends on your luck to be honest.
 

Placement Rating
The average package during placement is 3 to 4 LPA. Nowadays, there are very few mass recruiters. You can work on your skill to stand out. Try to get internship in 2nd and 3nd year to build the strong resume.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the college provides hostel facilities. They can be improved.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure is good as compared to other colleges. All the systems work very well. Laboratories are in fine condition. Buildings are well maintained and washrooms are cleaned daily for this particularly. I will rate my college 9/10. Even in first year’s block, there is air conditioned in classes to provide best facility. Everything is provided by college in very well and durable shape. The best area is central library i love that place.
 

Campus Rating
My overall campus life is very good. I guess it is a mixture of my luck, choices, and college. The college crowd is very diverse. You will see all type of people, coming from very rich family to middle class, people from literally every state. You can easily find friends in believe. There are many clubs and societies, which might help you a lot. There are many engagement activities happening every month. Udbhav is our annual cultural fest. Last time Jassi Gill was invited. My personal college life was very good. Companionship matters a lot.

    My overall experience in this Institution is very good as it provides good infrastructure, several courses, fun Campus life and placement opportunities. I chose IPEC Ghaziabad as it is nearby Delhi and easy to reach and also provides good placement offers, has a nice crowd, and is now autonomous so this is an advantage as the curriculum is now more placement oriented.
