Fee Structure and Scholarship Options at AITM Varanasi

I prepared for JEE Advanced but due to some circumstances, I couldn't clear the subject wise cutoff. So, my relatives suggested me to take admission in this college and prepare for GATE and other government exams. Distinct feature of this institute is that it offers attendance relaxation, which is highly beneficial for competitive exams preparation. Rests of facilities are mostly generalized just like facilities in other institutes. The location is very awesome as it is located in Sarnath, which is very close to Kashi Vishwanath temple and BHU.

I chose B.Tech in Civil Engineering because I had interest in architecture, construction, history, etc. There is no eligibility criterion for admission in this college. You just have to be 12th pass, come to college do registration, and submit the required documents and that's it. Exam is taken semester wise. Apart from this, there are two class tests and 1 pre-university test. The academics here are bookish oriented.

The fee of my chosen course is Rs. 90,000 but there is scholarship of Rs. 30,000. There is a registration fee of Rs. 8,500.

Our faculty members are supportive which not the case in few other branches is. They are well educated and qualified. Their method of teaching is traditional i.e. blackboards but there are also smart boards in classes with ACs. Teachers are good at problem solving. If you have any doubt, you can directly go in their cabin and clear your doubts. Teacher to student ratio can be improved. My experience with them is good. In think, this experience depends on our behavior. If we respect them, they will respect us.

College has good campus. It has different blocks such as department of Mechanical Engineering, Management, etc. campus is very near, approximately 3 KM away from Varanasi Junction railway station. Maximum 40 students can sit in class. I hope in the future, they install AC aids in the classes. There are labs for respective subject. Library is beautiful and peaceful. It offers very good environment to study and its open even after college is finished.

My college life is actually very decent. The college crowd can improve itself. The management has been planning to form some clubs for the students. Yes, there are extracurricular activities organized by college such as sports music and dance. There are fests in our college known as ‘Abhudaya’.
