AITH Kanpur is a Top Choice for CSE Aspirants

When I first time came to AITH Kanpur for admission all the processes of admission mostly done smoothly and process of admission completed within 2 hours. I chose this institute because I wanted government institute with Computer Science & Engineering branch with low fee structure. All the other institutes are private. If they are good, then the fee is approximately more than 1 Lakh that is extremely high.

In this institute, I chose Computer Science & Engineering branch I wanted ever since I started preparing for JEE Main. If you have achieved a good percentile in JEE Main (more than 90%), then you are probably eligible to choose this branch in this institute. Admission process for institute is very easy. The frequency of exam in a semester is three times. The first two exams are unit test then one final exam semester exam, which is last exam of the semester. You can easily give time to academic preparation and preparation of external GATE and other government exams because there is no issue of attendance here.

Fee for the all branches and all courses is equal within B.Tech that is tuition fee equal to Rs. 78,500. There is no special discount in fee for any category student. It is equal for all the students. There is one scholarship i.e. UP government’s scholarship. It is given to students whose family income is less than a 2.5 Lakh. Scholarship for OBC and general category student is Rs. 58,000 approximately. For ST category, it is around 1 Lakh and for SC, it is about Rs. 80,000 yearly.

The faculty of institute is very good. They help in assignment projects and Viva. They help in solving the doubts if the student asks. All the teachers and faculties are PhD holders or they are working as researcher. They are very humble and polite. They help in work of the students and their teaching very easy and understandable. The teacher to student ratio is approximately 1:60. My experience and bonding with the faculties is good. They are helping me continuously in everything.

The placement is given by AITH Kanpur. Average CTC is approximately 6 Lakh per year from the tech courses and approximately 4 Lakh per year from the non-tech courses like Diploma and other Electrical & Mechanical branch. There are workshops organized by the faculty members for the placement and internship. All the seniors are very helpful in nature and give information about the institute how internship and placements are given by the companies. Most of the companies visit my institute for placement. The highest package from my institute last year was 1 Crore yearly and the lowest package was given by the company watch 2 Lakh Per Annum.

Hostel is available only for the first year students for. If you want to take room outside of the campus, you can take & there will be no issue by the institute. I paid the fee early, which is Rs. 78,500. The institute’s hostel is ok. If student wants to go outside of the hostel at night, they cannot go. The institute hostel for the boys is approximately 4 KM far from the campus. New building for girl’s hostel is under construction.

The campus of AITH Kanpur is constructed in approximately 20 acres of land. The infrastructure of institute is being refurbished and some new buildings are being made. The library of the institute is very good. There are approximately more than 70000 books in the library. Students can get these books issued. If they want to study in the library then there is no issue.

The overall campus life is good. Students are cooperative. Facilities for sports like football, volleyball, basketball, table tennis, and Kabaddi are available in the institute. Students can also engage in the indoor games like Ludo, chess, badminton, and free fire also. The institute’s crowd is okay. There are approximately 75 students in the each class. There are two sections in the Computer Science & Engineering branch, having approximately 151 students. There are three fests organized by the institute in a year namely Shankhnad, Aaveg, and Fresher’s. Overall, the campus experience is good. If you want to study and prepare for GATE, you can choose this institute without any hesitation.
