Ambedkar College Nagpur’s Admission Process

Dr Ambedkar College Nagpur has a very affordable fee structure for Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) program compared to other colleges. I chose this college since I am a CS aspirant and this college has flexible attendance policy. Therefore, that was really convenient for me and was able to focus on CS also. However, regular classes are conducted as per the timetables.

For admission, there is no need to give entrance exam or no personal interviews or group discussion is conducted. Admission is granted on the basis of marks obtained in 12th. Exams are conducted for every semester. It also conducts unit test before every final exam for good preparation. B.Com helps in building a foundation relating to various areas such as Taxation, Accounts, Business, Economics, etc. Being a CS aspirant, this course really helped me.

Dr Ambedkar College has a really affordable fee structure ranging from Rs. 2,000 to Rs. 2,500 per year. It also provides scholarship to the eligible students.

The faculty members are very well experienced and friendly in nature. They were very helpful and understanding. They use traditional form teaching. It is easy to have one on one interaction with teachers. More practical experiences and digital learning methods could be incorporated for better learning. I think being a commerce student, more exposure relating to related topics can create a better learning experience for students.

The college has an average campus. It is kind of huge. Some of the buildings are really old and need some renovations. The cafeteria and canteen have improved than earlier. Now, there are many food items at the canteen. There are huge auditorium, mini auditorium, and a seminar hall in the premises. The college also has a library with various kinds of books, references material, and journals. Medical facilities are also available.

Having good friends made my college life experience really great. The college has a decent college crowd. Many events and extracurricular activities are conducted for students like traditional day, Bollywood day, sports day, etc. It also conducts annual events for all the departments, which includes functions like dance, drama, singing, etc. Inter-college sports competitions are also conducted for students in cricket, athletics, etc. The college has a NCC department. More clubs in various fields can be formed.
