AIMT Greater Noida: Affordable MBA Program and Discipline-Focused Growth

From being an army family, I always wanted to connect to army. Army Institute of Management and Technology is an institution run by army where the children of our tri-forces (Army, Air force, & Navy ) are eligible for admission and fee system is very affordable for the wards. Providing such great education at such a lower cost is such a task and Awes is doing it well. It is different from other institutes because it provides you the discipline and overall growth prospects to its students.

The course I am enrolled in is Master of Business Administration (MBA) general & I chose this course because I learnt the skills during my Bachelor’s degree from University of Delhi but to channelize those skills, it was necessary as it helped me to use my skills in proficient way. The entry requirements are simple your parents should be serving or retired from the tri- forces. The admission process starts just after the CAT exam, you can get admission through GGSIPU by CAT, CMAT or central selection exam by the university, after Registration a PI round is conducted to know about the students, and the final merit list is published. Internal exams are either mid-sem based or before final exam. It conducts the final exam based on semester basis in December & June respectively.

The registration fee is Rs. 96,000 which is later deducted from total fees. The total fee for 1st year is Rs. 3,86,800. This fee includes the hostel fees as well as alumni fee, & several others. There is no special discounts for any students.

There are different faculty members for different sections. The faculty members are really good in their respective subjects and have a PhD in the same helping the students to not only gain theoretical knowledge but also giving them the assignments which can help the students to attain the practical aspects of the syllabus. All of the faculty members have a corporate life experience which helps them to deliver corporate ready skills. There are smart boards in the classroom and faculty use the method of case study solutions or group discussion in classroom to increase the intellectual level of management student. The teacher to student ratio in our college is 15:1, 1 faculty member is mentoring 15 students only, helping them to have close update on each student's growth. All of the faculty members are really approachable regarding any doubts you have in the college.

The placement cell in Army Institute of Management and Technology is CRC- Corporate Relation Cell. 100% placements are offered to each student present here & renowned companies like PWC, mother dairy, Deloitte, and JP Morgan are the placement partners here. With package starting 4 LPA to 18 LPA.

The college is fully residential and offers different hostels for girls & boys. The mess provides breakfast, tea during break at 11:00 AM in morning than lunch between 1 PM to 3 PM and snacks during 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM and dinner starts at 8 PM onwards. Daily attendance is done through punch system, and fingerprint scanner is installed at the gate of each hostel so that no student is missed during roll call.

This infrastructure was developed in 2004. There has been regular re-developments. It has the huge campus in Greater Noida and each classroom has a seating capacity of 60 students per classroom and a library consisting 20000 books, 3 computer labs, trading lab and two seminar halls, a conference hall for meeting, and an auditorium capable of handling 1200 people. There is a canteen available from 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM in the night. Having security guards at the main gate & both the hostels. There is transportation facility for students. Smart boards & cushioned seating in classroom making it comfortable to seat. There is an emergency room available where doctor is available on call.

Campus life here is amazing. There is always something going into engage. The crowd is really cheerful during any event makes us to do more and more. There are various clubs such as cultural club, marketing club, finance club, HR club, and entrepreneurship club as well. I am the core member of Cultural team and president of finance club which help me to get the best of my campus life. There are weekly club activities to develop students holistically and annual cultural fest in the month of February called as Armotsav. In the conclusion You will never get bored in the classroom and campus.
