ICFAI University Jaipur: Infrastructure, Affordable Fees, and Strong Academics

I liked infrastructure and environment of ICFAI University Jaipur. I have opted for this university and this course because of its course curriculum and faculties. The fee structure of this university is also good and less compared to other universities for same course. It offers various courses in different departments like Technical, Business, and Law. All the departments have good and well experienced faculties for students. It also has hostel facility inside the campus, which was well maintained. Hostel food was also good and hygienic.

I have chosen for B.Sc (Hons.) in Math. I was student of Science & Math in my 12th class so wanted to pursue my career in Math only. I liked the course curriculum for this course and so this was the main reason I have opted for this course. There was no eligibility required for admission in this university. For any UG course, you have to be 12th pass with minimum of 50%. You can opt for any of course present. We had exams in every month because in each semester there were 4 exams. Academics prepared me for my future life some of subjects which were included in course like PCS, RA helped me gain communication skills.

I have paid total of Rs. 70,000 for this course. Fee for every semester is Rs. 10,000 and there were 6 semesters so I paid Rs. 60,000 as fees and Rs. 10,000 as admission fees. There were no any other fees all charges for labs, library, and exam fees were included in this only. There were discount for students who have 70% in 12th and scholarship for students who top the class. There was no any specific category wise relaxation.

All the faculties who were teaching were well experienced and had good amount of knowledge related to their subjects. Some of them had 15+ years of experience in teaching. More of them were from Tech department only and completed their Masters. There were some project activities and some classes were also held through projectors. I have no idea about the ratio of students and teachers but there were faculties for each and every different subject. I had good experience with all the faculties. they all were good with students and help students in each and every way possible. They were helpful and solve issues related to academics and other issues also. They can be approached very easily.

There was a dedicated placement cell for process of placement drive activity and placement related issues. It helps students by giving all necessary knowledge and skills about companies coming for placements and train them for placement. Some of companies like Wipro, Byju's, and ICICI Bank were part of placement drive at our time. There were some good amount of package offered as if one of our course students was offered 10 LPA. I was not interested for placements so I have taken part for only 1 company i.e. GD. There were placement related activities throughout the year to give all necessary knowledge to students.

Yes, inside the university campus, there were hostels separately for both boys and girls with common mess area. There were more than 70+ rooms for boys hostel having both single and double occupancy. Some of them were AC and some were non AC but as of now there are all rooms available with AC only. Mess food was good and hygienic. There were breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner service available for all 7 days a week. Hostel fee for our rooms with double occupancy was Rs. 40,000 per semester which was Rs. 80,000 a year. I have a very good experience of hostel because there was all types of facilities like washing machine, TV, and sports equipment available inside hostel.

There were different blocks for different departments. There were 3 different departments Tech department, Business department, and Law department. Campus was located in 40 acres of land with good amount of greenery and trees. Class rooms were very good and modern with sitting capacity of 40 students and some were big for 70+ students. There were a central library for all departments. A computer lab with capacity of 300+ students. There were a cricket, football, and basketball and badminton ground. There were bus facility available for day borders. Canteen was also big and wide range of food items were available.

My overall experience at ICFAI Jaipur was very good and I enjoyed each moment of my life at this university. There are different clubs like Cultural, Sports, Yoga, Tech, dance, singing, and other clubs. There were different programs and activities throughout the year. Fests and events like fresher’s party, farewell party, Hackathon for 2 to 3 days were also organized by students with help of faculties. An annual fest which was also organized every year.
