SVEC Tirupati B.Tech CSE in AI & ML Academic Insights

My overall experience at SVEC Tirupati is very nice because I have learned many things. The environment is very peaceful which is good for studies. I have many friends in the college. I chose this college because of its excellent infrastructure and popularity in our region. When compared to other institutions, this college may be a step ahead in all areas including placements and value for money.

I opted for the course B.Tech CSE in Artificial intelligence and Machine Learning (AI & ML) because it is trending everywhere. The admission process is simple as they select students according to their EAMCET rank and classes get started 2 months after the exam. I became eligible for this course at this college by achieving a good rank in this exam. The frequency of exams in the college is not high as 2 semester exams and 2 mid exams are held each semester. The exams are not tough and students can get good scores if they study well.

My course fee structure is around Rs. 58,600 which is applicable for EAMCET qualified students. For management seat, the fee is about Rs. 1,50,000. This includes all type of fees and additional charges like building fees which is Rs. 10,000 which is paid every year. At Sri Venkateswara Engineering College, scholarship is provided to EAMCET qualified students.

The faculties for my course are very educated as they have graduated from prominent universities. Their teaching skills and problem solving skills are pretty good. Students can easily approach them if they have any doubts They use blackboards and PPTs as mode of teaching, The bond between the teacher & the student is very nice and collaborative as the teachers are friendly with the students.

Sri Venkateswara Engineering College has a Placement Cell which gives tips to the students so that they do well in placement drives. The highest package of the college is 11 LPA whereas the average package is 6 LPA.

The college offers hostel facilities for boys outside of the campus. It is situated at approximately 1 kilometre distance from the college. Apart from this, the girls’ hostel is present inside the campus. The college hostel fee structure is around Rs. 80,000. The mess food is hygienic and it is prepared with proper care but the taste could be improved. I haven't joined my college hostel because of the significant distance and I currently live in a nearby PG.

The infrastructure is very big as it has 10 blocks. Each block is divided on the basis of particular academic department & degree year i.e. 1st year 2nd year, 3rd year and so on. My block has many classrooms and the seating capacity of every classroom is around 70. There are 2 libraries along with multiple labs and seminar halls available at the college. There is also an auditorium where different events are conducted. Sports ground, medical facilities, bus transportation, canteen and juice shop are also available for the students. My favourite thing at the college is the juice shop which helps keeps me hydrated throughout the day.

My overall college life is very good as it has good atmosphere and campus conditions. It has lots of student because it is famous in our region.
There are many clubs like dance club, music club, innovation club, sports club, etc. Student can partake in various extra-curricular activities and competition events are held regularly. Fests and events are also organised every 2 months which reduce stress of the students.
