HR College: One of the Highest Ranked Colleges of MU Mumbai

Overall Rating
HR College of Commerce & Economics just stomps on and marches on like no other college at least in Mumbai. Academics and we as students are thrown punches on as college has a lot to offer is just one part of it. All the boxes of college life are ticked after being part of this college. With HR College though motivation comes within as there is so much to learn and be competitive is something not many institutions can teach you.
 

Academics Rating
The only reason why HR College is looked as many students first choice is because the dynamics of academics here are pivotal. Eligibility to get here is the toughest and also seats are few. Academics here are set up in an organized manner that we can pursue other vocational courses or professional courses like CA as our classes are held in early dawn. So, by lunch we are free and go on and do things that we want to.
Rs. 12,450 is my fee for the first year in B.Com. During the subsequent years, it comes down as some onetime fee is already charged during 1st year fees.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties of our college have good knowledge and values. Most colleges that I know claw their way back just before the exams; but at HR College, faculties do not entertain or believe in such things. Faculties would take lectures even if 7 students out of the 70%. In short, our faculties are our engine room in the middle as they keep us going and also support us if we are pursuing other things as well.
 

Placement Rating
HR College has one of the best placement cells. Luckily because of them corporate giants or powerhouses like Infosys, Zomato, and Deloitte are some of the few names that get B.Com students at a salary of Rs. 35,000 to Rs. 40,000 a month from our college.
 

Hostel Rating
There is no hostel in the college.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The college was established some 60 years ago and the main building is still the same. Not a heavy lifting campus as it is just one and a half acres big. Many facilities like indoor and outdoor sports facilities are thin. Talking about the good things, our computer centre now has MAC systems. Even our library is now bigger many other college. Our auditorium is also huge and the best part is our location. We could walk to iconic and mesmerizing Marine Drive during free times.
 

Campus Rating
Since our peer group colleges does not have space like us, so most fests are organized at our campus. Our largest fest is Talent Parade and just like these a dozens of events take place at our campus. ‘Shaan’ again is another fest where students of various colleges come and participate in events such as quiz and sports. So our campus offers a college life, which I am certain, is unmatched as one can develop all the skill sets that they want from our college.

    To begin with my first experience was more than overwhelming. Sine I stay in Panvel and feeling the air of pretty girls, expensive cars and extremely rich kids was more than I could have imagined around me. My accent was of course of East Mumbai as I come from Panvel, students started liking it as they felt I was funny.   • HR college location is the best

    Well, I graduated from HR nearly 10 years back. I hope I remember all that I did at the college and how my life was there at the college. HR and Jai Hind College were quite identical as both the colleges had crowd from South Mumbai, a small but nice campus and Marine Drive at a walking distance from the college.     HR is one of the best colleges in Mumbai for commerce. Not just the college but the location of the college is great as well. The college is surrounded by various colleges and the whole road is buzzing with student’s right throughout the day.
