Dayalbagh Educational Institute Agra is deemed to be university. College campus is spread over the area of 80+ acres and offers more than 20 courses. College has good labs and good facilities for the students. College does not have high fee. College is funded by the Radhe Swami Trust and there is also a Centre for the Radhe Swami Organization in the college. College has a religious touch and it is also much disciplined institute in India. I choose this institute because it is good for the post graduation students and it provides very good quality labs in the campus. I feel that other students should choose this institute if they want institute with good facilities, quality faculty members and world class labs.

Master of Science is a post graduation course and students need to do the graduation to be eligible for this course. I choose Physics as my subject in M. Sc. DEI Admission are done on the merit basis and cutoff generally lies between 70 to 75 percent in graduation. Seats are limited in this course which is 180 seats. Course duration is 2 years which is divided in four semesters. In this course labs are very important because curriculum is half theory and half is allocated to labs. Since course is dedicated to one subject in deep So it requires focus to study in class. It is tough to score good in the end semester examination because each semester because there are three main subject in each semester and the duration of semester classes is months which is not much.

I enrolled in the PG course which means teacher who taught us in this course are all PhD holders and most of them also done their post doctorate and they are the expert in their respective areas. Since all the faculty members in Dayalbagh Educational Institute are highly educated hence they have the deep understanding of the concept and they also deliver the knowledge in a great way to the students. Teaching style of the faculty members is amazing and they are very helpful to us. Since a lot of labs are in the curriculum hence lab teacher should be top notch. Teachers in the labs are also very skilled and they explain all the experiment with great depth. Overall faculty members are good and have vast knowledge specially the optics teachers are amazing and their knowledge is unimaginable.

Yes Placement cell is available in Dyal Bhag University campus and it is also very active but companies do not come for the M. Sc. students. Companies generally visit the campus for B. Tech and MBA students. Most of the M. Sc students also do not have the plan for placements. Students want to pursue PhD after the M. Sc or they want to prepare for the TGT or PGT exam which is conducted for the lecturer position.

Institute is residential and it has hostel for girls and boys separately. College hostel life is good and filled with many memories; some good and some are horrible. College Hostel has all the necessary facilities for the students like good furnished rooms, Wi-Fi and also cloth washing facility. I was surprised by the fact that the food here in the college hostel mess is very tasty. There is also one gym in each hostel. Hostels students also get some additional facilities like sports equipment and extra tutorial classes for the hostels and As a PG student I also got chance to teach my Juniors in the hostel. Every festival is celebrated with joy in the college hostel.

Dayalbagh Deemed University is more than 100 year old but it does not look old because college management upgrades the campus. Construction work always runs in the institute. There are many blocks in the college and college has 2 big sports ground for the sports activities and one indoor complex. Institute also has an auditorium for the indoor functions and for the convocation program. College infrastructure design is old but sustainable. College also has a big library and a digital library also where students and borrow any book they want, there are more than 1 lakh books in the library. College environment and air quality is also good. Classrooms are good and have good furnished tables and chair and a projectors in each classroom. Labs are also very clean and arranged in very systematic manner.

Main highlight is the college life here is the workshops that the students organizes by collaborating with students from other departments. We make many friends in the workshops. Crowd in the college is very disciplined and interactive at the same time. An annual fest happens in the college in the month of January but it did not happen last year because of the corona virus. There is one sports fest that happens every year in which teams from the other colleges also comes. Every festival is celebrated in the campus with great enthusiasm. There are no clubs in the college that why it is different from other institutes.
