For B. Tech Courses, you need a minimum of 60% marks in PCM in Intermediate and you must have given the JEE Mains Exam and scored a percentile of minimum 50% otherwise it won't be considered. The Branch depends on your Intermediate Board's results and JEE Mains score. The weightage of merit list is divided in 4 categories namely, High school - 5%, Intermediate - 60%, JEE Mains - 15%, and Interview - 20%. You can get one or two extra merit points by submitting your approved certificates. The higher you score is in the merit list, the better branch you'll get. There are 5 branches in this course: Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Footwear Technology, and Agricultural Engineering. The placement rates are higher in this course as compared to others and every course provides 5 months Co-Op Training, which helps you to gain industrial experience.

The faculty members of this course are mostly from NITs and IITs or they are researchers in their respective fields. They give all their efforts, knowledge to nurture the students. The professors are highly experienced and have a minimum experience of 25 years, while the Associate professors are also highly experienced and have an experience of minimum 10-15 years. The Assistant Professors have an experience of minimum 5 years. The Ph.D scholars also teach some courses that are doing their research under Professors and their innovative thoughts and experiences help and motivate the students to work harder and harder for success.

Yes, the faculties have their own Training and Placement Cell (TPC). It not only helps students acquire jobs in the industry, but also provide proper training opportunities for every student. Training helps the students to gain exposure of the industry and make them learn about solving real-life problems which are faced daily in the industry. The Placement Cell helps students to find perfect jobs for themselves during campus placements and also helps to create perfect resume by collecting and analyzing your data.

Yes, The Institute provides hostel facilities to the students who are living far away from their home. If you're living more than 80 kms away from your institute, then you're eligible for using hostel benefits from Institute. The life in hostel is quite good and decent. All kind of facilities are available in the hostel to stay there. The food is a lot better than the mess food we get to eat in PGs, etc. The infrastructure is quite good; rooms and bathrooms are well maintained, clean and available with proper arrangements.

The infrastructure of the campus is vintage as it's one of the oldest institutes of Agra. The seats and benches are so strong, and the fans are old, but their efficiency is still better than the fans which we're using nowadays due to the Engineering which was done by the students of that time in these equipments. They prefer pollution free environment, so you'll find a lot of trees in the campus. The Central Library is so beautiful, and its infrastructure is a watchable thing.

Campus life can be defined in both words interesting and boring. You've to go for service in the first year and for National Service Scheme (NSS) Camp too, but this is the time when you can meet and enjoy with your new mates in the starting of a new experience. It helps you in making new friends and The Intra faculty competition takes place every year in which sports like football, volleyball, basketball, etc. and competition like essay writing, debate, speech, etc. are held for physical development of students. Events are held on regular basis like interactive sessions with some well-known personalities, celebration of Engineer's Day, etc. Some students like these things and some don't. Everyone has their own perspective.
