GGMSC Jammu: Academics, Activities, Many More

Overall Rating
My college life in GGMSC Jammu is so good and adventurous. I like this college as it provides all the facilities. I would also recommend it to my juniors as this college could help you become good person who has quality knowledge also. Though, academics sometime seem hectic, events make up for it.
 

Academics Rating
I chose B.Sc (Biotechnology). An eligibility criterion to get admission in this course is to have above 70% marks in 12th class. Academics here prepare us for real life challenges. Moreover, the exams are of moderate difficulty.
Fee for my course is Rs. 14,500 per year, which is affordable a middle class student. Yes, there is a special scholarship for special category students.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty members are very helpful. They help every student to grow and learn. They have more than 10 years of teaching experience, which enhance college reputation. The background of faculty is also very good. They also assist students during queries and problems.
 

Placement Rating
From my perspective, placements need to be improved.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, GGMSC Jammu provides a hostel to both girls and boys. Hostel fee is Rs. 2,000 per year, which is affordable. I have not opted for the hostel though.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus is huge. The infrastructure is good as there are multiple blocks for various domains such as academics and administration. Apart from that, we have 3 playgrounds: football ground, cricket ground, and baseball ground. It also has library.
 

Campus Rating
Mt overall experience in GGMSC Jammu is excellent. I enjoy my college life very much. College crowd is also high. Yes, extracurricular activities are organized by our college. Various fests and events are also organized by our college. I have made many good friends here. College gives many opportunities to students to participate in different tournaments, which help them grow. Students can also participate in NCC activities.
