Legal Career at KES Law College: Placement and Internship Opportunities

I am a student coming all the way from Haryana to study in KES Law College for 5-year Law programme. The college is NAAC (B++) accredited. The whole staff, from the teaching and administrative department is very supportive and are always ready to guide and help you through whatever is required. Not just this, the placement cell is also working the best in its power. It is also providing you with the best of internship opportunities and also keeping a check on it.

I'm a student of 5 years B.L.S.LLB at KES Law College. The curriculum is well designed. The first two years majorly focused on subjects like Logic, History, Political Science, etc., and the latter 3 years are all about Law. The qualifications required are 55% aggregate in 12th standard and CET (Common Entrance test) marks. The semester exams are scheduled almost every 6 months i.e. April and November. There's an internship break of 2 months from mid May to mid July. The timings of the college are very suitable for the students to focus on internships. The curriculum in that way, helps you very well with the practical aspects of law.

The fee structure is very pocket friendly. The fee per year is somewhere around Rs. 20,000. Along with that, it also provides scholarship opportunities to the student as well. The students have to apply for the scholarship at the time of admission and the same is taken into consideration later on. There are no hidden charges. Just the tuition fee is Rs. 19,500. The exam charges of around Rs. 3,500 in the last two semesters.

The faculty is very well mannered, well behaved, and very well educated. Most of the professors are PhD scholars or are pursuing PhD. The college is not only relying on the permanent staff, they also have visiting faculty who are already excelling in their particular fields in the practical aspects of the law. The college also organizers lectures wherein they call the best of legal practitioners to take lectures on the topics of their expertise.

The college has a well-established placement cell which comprises of aluminizes of the college, the visiting faculties who are apparently working with top tier law offices, the current students, and professors. Beyond that, the workshops and extra lectures organized are organized by the college and the visiting faculty also presents the placement opportunities for the college.

No hostel facility is provided by the college. The locality is too good and the students can find a good place to stay nearby.

The campus is too good for a College in Mumbai City. It's a big 7-floor building for Law college only. The college is very well comprised of lifts, a canteen, a separate admin block, a medical room, mental health room, a moot court hall, multipurpose hall, as well as a Pabcholia Hall where all the events of the college are organized. The campus is air conditioned with centralized AC in the whole campus, in all the classes. The college provides a lifetime membership of the library to its students. There is a peaceful environment and the books at the library are regularly updated. Daily newspaper and law magazines are also available for the ones who want to read.

The campus life is too good. The college organizes co-curricular activities regularly. It also organizes events such as traditional day, wherein the students are asked to dress in ethnic clothes, bollywood day, wherein the students dress up as their favorite bollywood characters, ethnic day, twinning day, Marathi day. Beyond that the event hall is too good wherein all the events of the college are organized including the farewell and freshers party. Not just that, the college also organizers workshops relating to the subjects of the curriculum like the environment law, a one-day Versova cleaning drive was organized in association with Afroz Foundation, and medico legal workshop was organized in association with copper hospital.
