KES Shri Jayantilal H. Patel Law College Mumbai was Previously Known as 'KES’ Law College'

I am from Uttar Pradesh and have come all the way to study at this College. Since I have moved to a different state for my studies, I was initially a little unsure about how everything would be. However, so far I've met friendly seniors who are ready me. This is an affordable College, especially for students who are looking for a good Law College without spending a very high amount on fees. You can often find seniors and ask them for help in computer labs or the library. The College also prioritises extra-curricular activities and mooting competitions. The College has a safe environment for students. There is an Anti-Ragging Cell and committee, which makes students feel more comfortable & safe, especially those who have come from another state. ID cards are necessary in College and students are expected to carry them regularly. We have our fests during the month of February, and they come with many competitions and opportunities for exposure. Internships are also encouraged after the 3rd year. Infrastructure is well maintained, with the classes having air conditioners, which makes the long lectures more comfortable. The classrooms are also in proper condition. Overall, my experience at this College has been good so far.

This College was formaIly called KES’ Law College. I was looking for an affordable College with good education that focuses more than practical learning practices rather than textbook learning style & it is the perfect College for that. With moot courts, guest lecturers, and a relaxed education of about 50% to 60%, the College provides a good opportunity to grow and learn. Admission in this College is done by MHT-CET. There are internals, semester end exams, and additional internal exams.

As stated earlier, KES Shri Jayantilal H. Patel Law College Mumbai is very affordable with 1st year fee being around Rs. 33,000/-. Fees structure from other years is also similar.

As uses practical learning more than textbook learning we'll have guest lecturers and practical practices to learn. Teachers mainly focus on the application of Law, understanding, rather than a textbook definition. The faculty is one of the better things about the College. The teachers are approachable and supportive, and you can ask them for help regarding academics or other College-related matters. They also encourage students to participate in moot courts, competitions, and other activities.

The College building has 7 floors, and Law students have classes on the 6th and 7th floor. There are lifts that students can use, and the staff has a separate lift. We have a common girl's room, library, computer lab, boy's common room, and a room for activity or club meetings. The classrooms are properly ventilated, with good views and huge windows, along with AC. My favorite part about the College infrastructure is the accessibility. The College is also near the metro station and local train, so it is easy to commute.

College does have an annual fest during the month of February. There are also moot competitions and different committees that students can join. College crowd primary consists of locals. This College is associated with the Kandiwali Education Society. The College crowd is average, with decent people. In the end, you've to choose your own company according. The College is also flexible with attendance, so that helps.
