Fee Structure of GEHU Haldwani: Scholarships and Concessions

So far, I like this campus. Graphic Era Hill university provides all facilities like transport, sports, canteen etc. The classrooms for students of the Management Department are very well equipped, creating a conductive learning environment for students. The placements are decent but most of the students get placed from the B.Tech department. ‘Grafest’, the cultural fest of the university, is held every year. It includes sports competition at inter and intra level, and various other activities within the university. However, BBA students face challenges due to limited placements and support from few faculties. Overall, it is a mixed experience.

I have a keen interest in BBA and wanted to explore the subjects inside BBA. The entry requirements in this university are simple. You should be 12th pass with minimum 50% from all backgrounds. They will be consulting you and then provide with a form to fill out. Remember to take your 10th and 12th mark sheet, your domicile certificate (not mandatory), 4 passport size photos and your Aadhaar Card. The exams are 2 times per semester- Midterm and End term.

The fees of Graphic Era Hill University, Haldwani is quite high, but they give discounts to students. The total amount of this course there (including tuition fees, admission fees, registration fees, library fees, bus fees and other few charges) is around R.s. 4,60,000 for 3 years (after applying discounts and scholarships). There are multiple scholarships they provide, like girl scholarship, scholarship based on 12th percentage, army scholarship etc.

The faculty of Management Department is really good, supportive, and interactive. They help students and guide them efficiently. Most of them are really flexible and approachable, but sometimes few of them are very strict and uncongenial. But, they help us whenever we have any query or doubt without any question. Almost all the faculty members are PhD holders, or are pursuing it. They are intelligent and smart and know how to teach students. Many students, including me have a great bond with them.

The placements are decent considering it is a new campus. In MBA, 70-80% students get placed, and the highest package last year was 12 LPA. However, in BBA department, fewer students got placed and the highest package was 8 LPA. Placements are decent but limited for management students. It is also due to lack of interest of students in getting placements because they aim for higher studies or self business venture.

Graphic Era Hill university has newly been opened, so for now it does not offer any residential/ hostel facilities.

The infrastructure of this campus is quite good and still in process. The classrooms for management department are well equipped with good seating arrangements, making it a conductive learning environment for students. It provides facilities like Canteen- provides good quality food with variety of food options, Sports - football, volleyball, cricket, badminton etc., Medical room, Transport facilities. The campus has security guards and CCTV cameras everywhere. There are labs for all departments. My favorite part is Canteen facilities. Though there are no facilities or infrastructure features which complements my academic experience but some teachers do complement my course teaching/ academic experience.

Overall campus life at Graphic Era Hill is great with my friends. A good thing is that, that the campus is less crowded. There are many clubs like NSS, NCC, Pratyay- cultural club, IKS Cell and many more. There are a lot of co-curricular activities in the campus, like cooking competitions, MadAd, and many more, organized by various departments like management, hotel and hospitality, engineering, computer science, etc. department. Grafest is held every year with that event like management fest, tech fest etc. Of each Dept. I love those activities, events and fest. They help us learn and grow.
