Holistic Education at GEHU Haldwani

Overall Rating
My overall experience in Graphic Era Hill University, Haldwani is very good. I am doing my MBA from this campus and the experience is very good. The difference between this college and others present in Haldwani is that of the fee structure; here is very affordable and the faculty that teaches is highly qualified. The overall environment here is very good. If you want to study and make your career bright you should opt for it.
 

Academics Rating
My specialization is Human Resource. I have opted this because I like to interact with new people. The entry was through an exam organized by the University, after that we have to submit documents and fee. The overall criterion is that you should have a graduation degree. The admission process is very simple. Talking about the frequency of exams, we have to give the mid-sem and the end-sem twice a year. The academics prepare us for real life challenges by providing the real learning through the practical assistance.
Fee is different for different courses. For my course the semester fee is Rs. 1,20,000. No extra charges are taken; the entire amount taken is shown in your ERP. Various fee concessions are provided by the college, like they provide 5% for women student, 25% for hill areas students, 5% for the person whose parents are in army, and 20% for the student whose parents or brother or sister are working in the University. Graphic Era also provide scholarships to the students who score good marks. If you have more than 75% in your graduation then you will be getting 10% off on your course fee.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members of my course are highly qualified. They all have done their PhDs. The teaching is through PPTs, group discussions, and quizzes. The faculties are really helpful. Faculty members try to solve the students’ problems in the best possible manner, be it academic or personal. The faculty really understands the situation of a student and helps them to overcome any difficulties. The student teacher ratio at the University is 50:1. My bond with the faculty of my course is really good.
 

Placement Rating
The placement cell at GEHU Haldwani is very active throughout the year; they help the students to get a good placement in the reputed organizations. There are many big organizations that regularly visit the campus like Grand Throtan, Bajaj, Microsoft, Vivo, etc. The average package that an MBA student get is of 6 LPA and the highest package can go up to 20 LPA -25 LPA. I have got three offers as of now and I am hoping to get more.
 

Hostel Rating
No, there are no hostel facilities.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Graphic Era Hill University, Haldwani campus is under construction but all the classes are maintained really well. Classrooms are air conditioned and have good seating arrangements. They are equipped with smart boards. Facilities like library, seminar hall, auditorium, canteen, medical room, etc. are present in the University campus. My favorite place of the campus is the garden, which is very green and is maintained nicely. The logo ‘I love GEHU’ is a attraction among the students who like to capture pictures of themselves.
 

Campus Rating
The overall campus life is much sorted. The University is not much crowded. There are many clubs like sports club, eco club, etc. where you can contribute and enjoy. There are many engagement activities organized by the college like sports fest, SHG mela, management fest, etc. Many fests are organized in the campus. All the festivals are celebrated in the campus like Holi, Christmas, Janmashtami, etc. Overall, the experience of studying here is really good.

    Graphic Era known for its placements actually holds true. The dedicated team of Training and Placement along with each department faculty takes it as personal responsibility to get every student placed in a good brand.
