Fee Structure of Keshav Mahavidyalaya's B.Sc (Hons.) Course

I think it is one of the best colleges in Delhi University. It is known for its clean campus and excellent infrastructure, being one of the most beautiful campuses in Delhi. The college offers a peaceful and well-maintained environment, which supports focused learning. The faculty is knowledgeable and approachable. Keshav Mahavidyalaya encourages learning alongside different co-curricular activities, which contains different clubs and societies.

I am a B.Sc (Hons.) in Mathematics student here. Departments like Computer Science, Management Studies (BMS), Mathematics, Psychology, stand out for their academic excellence and supportive faculty. Regular seminars, workshops and guest lectures are organised to expose students to practical applications and emerging trends in their field. Exams are conducted smoothly with proper evaluation and feedback from teachers. The college also promotes academic research especially among final year’s students; recently a research cell of mathematics was launched. It will encourage students to work on research papers under faculty mentorship.

Fee structure is quite affordable. For most undergraduate programs like B.A, B.Com, B.Sc annual fees generally is in the range of Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 15,000, depending on the course. For professional courses like BMS and B.Sc (Computer Science) have slightly higher fees ranging from Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 40,000 annually.

Faculty of Keshav Mahavidyalaya is one of its strongest assets. Most professors are highly qualified, with many holding a PhD degree and having years of teaching experience. They are knowledgeable, approachable and supportive, especially when it comes to doubt solving, mentorship and academic guidance. Department of Mathematics, where I study is one of the finest departments. Staff here is student friendly. Lectures are delivered with clarity and many professors include real world examples, case studies and discussions to make it more interesting for students. Methods such as PPTs and Group discussions are used to clear doubts and make concept more engaging. The non-teaching staff here is also cooperative.

There is a placement cell at Keshav Mahavidyalaya, which is also known as ‘Start@KMV’. It is quite active and growing. However, placement opportunities here are not at the level of top North Campus colleges but the college is putting effort to make it outshine. Companies from various sectors like Consulting, IT, Finance, Education, Marketing participate in the placement drive. Some well-known Recruiters that have visited include Wipro, TCS, Accenture, EY offering roles in different sectors such as HR, Business Development, operations etc. The average package ranges between 3 LPA-5 LPA and highest offers going up to 7 LPA-8 LPA in some years.

There is a Girls Hostel inside the campus, which is neat and clean providing healthy and hygienic food. Hostel is well maintained and provides safe environment to girls. Rooms are typically shared and come with necessary furnishing like bed, table, chair and wardrobe. Hostels’ infrastructure is quite good with clean washrooms and laundry facilities. Safety is taken seriously, a warden is present at all times and entry/exit is monitored strictly. There is no hostel for boys as of now, thus male students must seek PGs or rental accommodations nearby.

Keshav Mahavidyalaya is one of the well-maintained and greenest campuses among all the off campuses of Delhi University. There are 2 gardens both are well maintained. There is proper Football, Basketball space for students to relax in between lectures. This college is relatively new so the infrastructure is quite modern and up to date. Classrooms are well lit, comfortable and equipped with projectors. Library and reading rooms are highlight they are well stocked with academic and reference books. It is fully air conditioned to make it easy for students. Labs are well maintained with updated systems and software. There is an auditorium, which is spacious and clean, seminar rooms are well maintained and often used for different department's events and workshops.

It is my third year in college and it amazes me that how time flies. Campus life is something I will cherish forever. The student societies including Drama, Dance, Music, Debate Fashion, and different departmental clubs are very active and offer great exposure and opportunities to participate in inter-college competitions, fests and events. The annual fest 'Tryst' is one of the most awaited events filled with performances, celebrity appearances and fun activities. Vibe here is top notch. Crowd at Keshav Mahavidyalaya is also cooperative and disciplined.
