Dr BMN College of Home science has Best Faculty

Overall Rating
My overall experience in Dr BMN College till date has been great. The faculty and college provide good support to have a great career ahead and become successful. I would highly recommend others to choose this college.
 

Academics Rating
I chose this course because I was interested in ID field. My percentage in HSC didn’t allow me to choose B.Tech. However, you can choose BCA as the cutoff percentage is 60. Academics are good. I got to learn the languages like Python, Java, HTML, JavaScript, C, and C++ along with other important topics like DBMS, Data Structures, etc.
My fee for 2nd year is Rs. 42,000 and when I was in first year, it was about Rs. 39,000. Scholarship is provided on the basis of percentage. Last year, I paid around Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 20,000 only. Furthermore, there is concession for reserved category students.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty is good and supportive to the students. Teaching methods used by the faculty are whiteboard, PPTs, group discussions, and smart boards. Their background is also very good. Almost all of them have more than 10 years of experience. The faculty members are very much helpful and never discriminate among us. Relationship between faculty and students is a good as all of them are approachable.
 

Placement Rating
Placement services are provided by Dr BMN College. Well known companies like Deloitte, Wipro, TCS, Amazon, and many other visit the campus to recruit students. The highest package has been 8.67 LPA (by Amazon). Moreover, other companies hire students with the starting package of 2 LPA. For getting good placement, students need to have CGPA between 7 to 10.
 

Hostel Rating
As I have not lived in hostels, so I do not have much knowledge about it. However, there are hostels in our college. I know my various friends who not from Mumbai are staying in PGs nearby the college.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus is very big. All the facilities such as canteen, sports arena, ground conference room, computer labs, auditorium, medial, transport, security, gym, seminar hall are present inside the premises. The classrooms are also big as each of them can accommodate around 70 students. The department of BCA has a separate floor. There is a library with lot of books, computers, and huge sitting area; students can silently sit and read. There are good facilities in gym. Trainers are also present in the gym to train the student to maintain their physique and health. The overall infrastructure of the college is perfect.
 

Campus Rating
My college life in Dr BMN College has been good. The students are free to roam in free hours. There is a gym in college where students can go for a workout in their free hours. Annual functions and events are organized from time to time for students’ enjoyment. Almost all the festivals are celebrated here. Apart from these, NSS and NCC clubs are also present in college.
