AP EAPCET for ANITS Visakhapatnam's B.Tech

My overall experience in ANITS Visakhapatnam is fantastic. The main factors that made me choose this institute is the infrastructure and maintenance of the institute. Even though the landscape is less, the scenery is very beautiful. The other institutes are very far from the city and there are only 2 to 3 institutes in the city of Visakhapatnam. For my rank, I got seat in this institute and I have joined happily.

I have chosen Computer Science Engineering with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. This is one of the departments, which in future will be helpful in providing placements, since the future is based on Artificial Intelligence. The eligibility criterion is to qualify from AP EAPCET. For different categories, we have different cut off ranks of AP EAPCET. The general category must get under 10,000 rank to get seat in this department. There are midterm, internal, external and end term exams.

The tuition fee is Rs. 59,990 and there are external charges for library maintenance and placement classes. There is a full fee reimbursement provided by government to specific category of students.

There are many faculty members in a department. The faculty is highly qualified with M.Tech and PhD degrees in their respective fields. They teach on black boards, power point presentations, and group discussions. Seminars are also conducted for the students. Each faculty member typically handles 50 to 60 students in a class. The faculty are very supportive and always willing to clarify doubts to the students, helping students in problem solving in both inside and outside the classroom. I have a good experience with every teacher.

Even though the area of ANITS Visakhapatnam is moderate, each department has its own dedicated block. The campus has well maintained classrooms and hygienic washrooms for every department. There are different labs in every department with well-maintained equipments. Each classroom is big, with a seating capacity of 60 to 70 members. There is also a library, where we can access vast number of books. A digital library is also provided.

My overall experience in the institute is memorable and enjoyable. The crowd created a positive environment inside and outside the institute. There are many active clubs like E-Lan Club, Sports Club, etc. Extracurricular activities like gym, dance, music, etc. are also there. There is a cultural fest conducted in the month of March, in which there are different types of activities conducted. This fest is very enjoyable. It brings fun and celebration for every student. There are industrial visits also conducted.
