My View of ANITS Visakhapatnam

Overall Rating
I am a CSE 3rd year student at ANITS Visakhapatnam. My experience here has been very good. The institute has a peaceful environment, which helps us to concentrate on our studies. The reason I chose this institute was because of its placements and faulty. It is one of the top institutes in Visakhapatnam with good placements. One of my school senior was placed with good package from this institute.
 

Academics Rating
I chose this course because I am interested in tech problems and learning about computers. I joined through EAMCET and the admission process was simple. We have mid and end exams and practical labs every semester. Our HoD teaches Computer Networks and Artificial Intelligence, of which she has more knowledge and strong foundation in the subjects. It is very helpful for our future jobs.
I have been paying around Rs. 72,000 per semester for the CSE course. During the first year, we had some admission and registration fees as well. There are also fee reimbursement options, which are provided by the government.
 

Faculty Rating
One of the best things about my institute is our faculty. As a CSE student, I have had great experiences with my teachers. Most them explain topics clearly using blackboards, PPTs, and sometimes real world examples. The student teacher ratio is good and we never feel ignored. Overall, the teachers here are approachable and genuinely care about us. The faculty here is very knowledgeable and patient with us. One of my favourite teachers is Ushabala mam.
 

Placement Rating
The placement cell gives us sessions on aptitude, coding, interview skills and even CV building. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, and Cognizant visit every year. The average package is around 3.5 LPA- 4 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
I do not personally stay in hostel as I am a day scholar, but a few of my friends do. They said that hostels are decent and seperate for boys and girls. Rooms are clean and basic facilities like beds, tables are available. The mess and food is simple but hygienic. Hostel timings would be around 8 AM to 8 PM. Fee is around Rs. 70,000- Rs. 90,000 per year based on AC or Non AC rooms. Security is good and timings are strict.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus of ANITS Visakhapatnam is spacious and green, which creates a peaceful study atmosphere. As a CSE student, I spend most of my time in the labs and classrooms, both of which are well maintained. Some classrooms even have projectors. The library is big and quiet. It is one of my favorite places. We also have seminar halls, sports areas, hospital, and transport facility. The infrastructure supports academics very well.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life at here is simple but enjoyable. I joined the tech club which organizes small events and workshops. The students here are friendly and there is respectful atmosphere across departments. We have cultural fests, technical events, and festival celebrations every year. I enjoyed and relaxed along with studies. I have made some good memories here.
