Overall Rating
The campus is not quite big but it is good enough. There are many trees around it and has a peaceful vibe. I chose this because it is one of the most well reputed colleges in Latur. This is perhaps one of the oldest colleges here; hence it has a great historical significance. The academic syllabus too, is very well set according to the needs of the job you will be doing. The fee is very affordable compared to other colleges.
 

Academics Rating
I chose B.Com general. It is one of the cheapest courses here. There is a lot of scope in commerce recently, considering the business advancements happening all over the world right now. Along with that, the best part is that you do not have compulsory attendance. It helps me a lot because I am preparing for CA Foundation. The entry requirements for B.Com are 12th grade marks. For BBA/ BCA you must have passed the MHT-CET. The admissions open every June. Exams are conducted on time. The internals are always a month before the end sem exam. The academics are well set according to the real world.
Fees for B.Com may be around Rs. 1,200- Rs. 21,000. It also depends on the course specifications. SC/ST students get their concession of 10,000 per month.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty at this college is well qualified and extremely friendly. They have nice personality and engage with the students well. The explanations on certain topics are on point and they train the students well on how and what to write in the exams. Most of them have an M.Com degree, which is the perfect fit for M.Com students. There's IWBs in every class which are used every day for teaching the students. The faculty is well trained and can solve the students’ problem related to the academics. I'd say it is well staffed. They are very approachable.
 

Placement Rating
There is a placement cell in Dayanand College of Commerce, Latur. Its job is to train the students for job interviews and develop skills they need to land a nice job. Many companies visit the college for on campus placement such as Wipro, Infosys, TCS, etc. The average package is 2.3 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
The college provides hostel facilities to the students. The rooms are well maintained and comfortable for the students. The girls and the boys hostel are separate. The mess food is fine. I do not know the hostel fee, as I am a day scholar. Students can stay around the campus till 10pm.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There is a garden in the middle of the campus and it is well maintained. The classrooms are equipped with IWBs and can fit 100 students in each of them. There is a huge library right at the back of the college. The campus has its own auditorium and a stationary store as well. I think one of my favorite things is the Lotus pond in the garden.
 

Campus Rating
The overall campus life is not much interesting. The crowd isn't so outstanding either. Just very basic and normal I would say. There are sports clubs and music clubs I heard. There is a youth festival, an annual function and other different events throughout the year. All I can say is it’s a satisfactory college. It is great if you don't want the hassle to attend every single day.
