Choosing the Best, Saveetha Engineering College

Overall Rating
My overall experience is better in Saveetha Engineering College. I have chosen this college because the placements are good. This college is affiliated with the Anna University, which is a very good university. I think this college gives the question bank for the end semester exam but another colleges.
 

Academics Rating
The course I chose is Cyber Security, which is specialization in Computer Science and Engineering. I am interested in ethical hacking. I am very passionate about hacking software. Entry requirements for any student are to have score of more than 90% in entrance exams. Admission process is also quite easy. Exams will be conducted frequently in my course .They conduct regular tests and exams, which are very useful for the students at end semester exams.
The fee of my course cyber security is Rs. 2,50,000 and my college asks us to pay extra Rs. 25,000 in the first semester. Yes, there are special discounts for the students who score more marks. There are many scholarship schemes and there is financial aid available for the students.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties of my course are good. they have good knowledge and they explain well. They help in clarifying my doubts. Their method of teaching is they use pots, both blackboards and laptop and they explain with the real life situations or practical situations. There are so many students in the college and there are many faculties in the college. The experience between teacher and students is very friendly, we have a good interaction, and we will feel free to ask them the doubts that students have.
 

Placement Rating
As of now as the recession is going through only 75 % of the students were placed in the batch 2025.The most often companies to visit our college are HCL, IBM, Cognizant, Capgemini, Accenture, Hexaware, etc. The highest package offered in our college is 27 LPA and the lowest package is 3 LPA. The average package is 6 LPA. The placement experience is better.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the college provides many hostel facilities. In fact, the hostels are good and clean but there is some times problem with the ac's. The quality of mess food is better. The hostel rules are strict for both girls and boys . The hostels for boys and girls are separate. My personal experience in staying the hostel is good. My hostel fees is 1,29,000 as I have taken twin sharing AC room.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The structure of our campus and infrastructure is good. Theta is many auditorium halls and many labs, which includes Robotics labs, Microelectronics lab, Photonics lab, Machine Learning lab, etc. There are many canteens and transport facility is available for the day scholar’s students. Yes, the medical facilities are also good as we have a hospital in the campus only. The classrooms are also good as of now they have shifted the campus to a new block so they are slowly remunerating it and it will be completed within 6 months.
 

Campus Rating
The overall campus life is good. There are many clubs in our college, which include music club, dance club, spoken English club, etc. they collect fees for the annual fests. There will be events happening in our colleges such as hackathons, webinars etc. The campus life and experience is good and it should be improved with the placements so it will be easy for the students. There are so many students in our college.

    I joined this college 8 months ago. Since then it had been a very memorable experience out here. Let it be the infrastructure, quality of education, faculties, sports, academics, etc it was really great. The main highlight of this college is the pleasant environment.
