My Opinion on NFSU Gandhinagar: Best Infrastructure & Education

Overall Rating
NFSU Gandhinagar is a story of resurgence, as not many people know about it. The university is affiliated to Central Government and therefore many opportunities are provided as well. Overall, it has crafted a course that is tough and one has to go out of their comfort zone to study and survive here. To culminate oneself for five long years here, it takes a lot doing.
 

Academics Rating
Academics in Forensic Science is quite rigorous. The kind of lab sessions and real life practicals that I have done over the years were unimaginable. From how to preserve something to what all tests to be done to get the finest or results is what our academics is all about and it's a thriller study.
When I joined in 2021, the fee was Rs. 95,000 a year. But now it is 1.2 Lakh a year.
 

Faculty Rating
Not just for academics, we can even approach our faculty if we have any personal problem. Our course is such that forensic officers and faculties form overseas are invited almost every semester to teach us real time experience. Our university has ensured that through invitee faculties and working officers in the same field, we have the best education and a bright future.
 

Placement Rating
MBA and other courses of the university have more placements opportunities than ours but some scientific labs are the ones where we get job opportunities.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel options are based on merit and campus hostels have very few seats. More and more students are enrolling as university has added new courses, but hostel facilities are still the same. Hostels are great no doubt but availability is less. So, in 2024 a rule was passed where students who completed their first two years have to find accommodation off campus as only new comers will stay at the campus hostels only.
 

Infrastructure Rating
In all, there are five blocks in the university and three are for our department. Our classes are held in SFS building and there's one entire building called the Narcotics building where all our practicals and all takes place. All the buildings are jaw dropping and labs are great. Devices and equipment in the labs are very modern. Volleyball and Badminton are the only two sports facilities available at the campus.
 

Campus Rating
Faculties at our university may be invited from overseas, but students from overseas enrol at our university as nearly 5-7 out of 100 students are foreign nationals. Strict instructions on behaving well with those students are given. Still, no one will feel out of place here as students are friendly here.

    The overall experience at NFSU is above average and students who are really interested in the field of Cyber Security should choose this university because the course is quite aligned with the industry standards. The subjects for each and every course are uploaded on the official website of NFSU so you can check from there.     The experience of NFSU Gandhinagar is very good. I chose this university because of its status of National Importance under the Ministry of Home Affairs. The course of Forensic Accounting and Fraud Investigation is the premier course, which is only available in this university across whole country.     My experience at NFSU has been no short of a roller coaster ride. I initially joined it because of the uniqueness of the course and the assurance of a 5-year integrated degree, but later fell in love with the place, the people and the festivals.     Holistically the university is decent, considering the fact that it's a pretty new institute of national Importance. It has been doing great. The placements in other schools are decent and if one really wants to study, they can easily get in this university.
