Parul University: One of the Best University for Engineering

Overall Rating
Parul University has one of the best environments in the whole country. Students will help you in every aspect like studies, sports, etc. I chose this University because it has good academic standard and good placements. First I gave JEE Main exam and I got 2 lakhs rank and while searching for private Universities, I came to know about this university and it attracted me in many ways’ enquired lot about this university and joined here.
 

Academics Rating
I chose Computer Science course. The entry process is first you need to pay Rs. 10,000 to register your admission and that Rs. 10,000 will later be added to your fees. Exams here are same as other universities i.e. yearly 2 semester exams and 2 mid semester exams and weekly exams in between them.
My fee is Rs. 62,500 based on my intermediate score. If you have good percentage in your 12th class, there is a chance of fee reduction but from last 2 years onwards, the fee has been increased upto Rs. 50,000. You need to pay your entire academic and hostel fees at once in 1st year and from second year onwards you can pay semester wise.
 

Faculty Rating
Here we have both best and average faculty. However, many faculties are highly experienced and have good subject knowledge. However, some are just average in subject that is common in almost any University. Personally, my faculty is so good and has minimum 10 years of experience. They teach us using projector and blackboard also. Student teacher ratio will be around 60:1. There are very nice to us and explains very well. They try to explain us in way that helps to improve our subject knowledge.
 

Placement Rating
Placement cell is there in our University. It helps students in order to be placed in campus placements. Recently they provided us a 40-day impact training to develop our skills and to meet industry level knowledge. This year the highest package was almost 40 LPA and average package is 4 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, there are residential facilities for the students here. There are nearly 20 hostels for students including girls and boys, but both boys and girl’s hostels are separate located. Food is also good and hygienic. If you are from north it is ok but if you are from South, you need to adjust little bit at first. Fee ranges from Rs. 80,000 to Rs. 1,50,000. I prefer to be in hostel rather than outside PG.
 

Infrastructure Rating
This campus is very large; it took me half to explore all the campus. It is in outskirts of the Vadodara city with full of greenery. Classrooms are digitalization facilities with projector in every classroom. We can use library at any time you want. We also have a reading room to study peacefully. Here all types of food is available you can enjoy variety of food within reasonable price ranges. My favorite spot is near my hostel, it is our hostel garden, which is so beautiful to spend time there.
 

Campus Rating
Parul University has one of the best environments as of now I have seen in my life. You can enjoy your University life here including studies. There are students from all around the world not only from India. I made friends of other countries and we enjoy a lot. We participate in various fests conducted by university and many celebrities visit the university. We can overcome our shyness by participating and displaying our talents.

    I am a student of B.Tech at Parul University. It has a very vibrant culture and there are students from all over India and abroad. My friends are from Manipur, Jammu, Lucknow, Vrindavan, Andhra Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Nigeria, Nepal, etc. It offers a stage for creative or talented people.
