ZHDC New Delhi Campus has High-Tech Facilities

Studying in Zakir Hussain Delhi College evening is one of the best part and memorable part of my life. Many things are available in College which attracts me towards this College like societies, socio-cultural activity and many more things including supportive facilities. One thing I found different in this institution is that they are very concerned with nature and the way they maintain the campus is totally different from other and many other factors also like faculties and friends, the combination of all these give the best experience and help in growth of life.

I enrolled for B.Com (Hons.). I chose this course because it is related with my interests like Business, Finance, Accounting, etc. And if anyone wants to take admission in this College, they can take by giving CUET, which is an entrance exam for 12th pass outs. After giving entrance exam, register and choose your preference and if you are eligible and meet the cutoff then you can get admission in this College. Next thing is syllabus test, so don't worry because for the practice of syllabus internals are conducted by professors frequently. Now according to me next thing is the most important, which is the way professor give and connect the syllabus with real life making it an interesting part. This method of teaching gives real life experience with completing the syllabus.

For the entire year, the fees of B.Com (Hons.) is Rs. 7,995/- and this can be afforded by majority. There are some other charges like examination fees. It may vary according to subject but approximate amount is Rs. 1,400/-.

The faculty is the most important part of any College and my experience with faculty is very good. The way they support us in studies, and also give extra time to students after the class to solve their doubts. The faculties are well qualified and have lots of knowledge. The professors use different techniques for teaching according to the need and requirements, like sometimes they use PPTs, sometimes they use black board for practice questions and sometimes encourage students for group discussion which helps in improving communication. Faculties are very supportive and they also provide guidance for the future, and if you have any doubts other than studies then they give solutions or the way to tackle that problem.

ZHDC New Delhi is a lush green College and the environment is very good. One important thing I noticed is that the College campus is relatively cooler than outside campus. Sufficient amount of classes are available in College and classes are allocated according to the courses like AV room, Hindi room, etc. The most attractive part of the College is our library. In the library, there are lots of books available in different languages including old books. Many facilities are available like canteen, sports room, Mother Dairy for milk products, medical room, well maintained ground etc. When I am free during College hours I love to spend time in canteen and sports ground. Spending time in sports ground refreshes our mind and I can then attend my classes with fresh mind.

Till now my overall experience of College is very good. In this College, I met new people who come from different parts of country. After interacting with them I got an opportunity to learn about their culture and traditions. In our College many societies are available like Enactus, Cultures Society, Women Development Cell, Sarmaya, etc.
Currently I am the head of project team in Enactus. In the campus, events and programs are conducted frequently by different societies like dance competitions, traditional dance, singing, College annual fest, etc. This College is giving many things like soft skills in communication, interaction, engagement, etc.
