Great Faculty at Zakir Husain College Evening New Delhi

Overall Rating
I am currently in the first year of Zakir Husain College (Evening), New Delhi. My experience has been good so far as the College environment is nice and most importantly the faculty is really great. All of the teachers are very skilled and have a lot of knowledge regarding their subjects. And, since, it is in central Delhi, the connectivity to other places is high and easy; the area is really good and decent.
 

Academics Rating
The course that I am pursuing currently is B.A Program. I chose this course because I had a lot of interest in Economics. The eligibility criteria for pursuing this course are that you should have completed your 12th in any stream with at least 50% of marks. The process of admission is through CSAS portal of Delhi university. The number of exams conducted in this course is twice in a year which is two semester exams.
The fee for this particular course is around Rs. 7,000/- per year.
 

Faculty Rating
All the faculty members are PhD holders in their fields and all of them have studied from renowned Colleges. Most of the teachers have completed their PhD from JNU. The teachers teach on whiteboard. The teachers have good problem-solving ability. The teacher and student ratio is quite good. The faculty that we have in our department is very sweet and approachable as you can go up to them if you face any issue.
 

Placement Rating
I don't know much about the placement cell, but it provides pretty good placements.
 

Hostel Rating
No, there aren't any hostels in the College.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The academic block of the College is ok. The College is pretty good infrastructure wise as there is a new building which is yet to be inaugurated. The size of the campus is pretty good. The size of the classrooms is like the average classrooms. The College contains a library, labs, auditorium, etc. The College contains a canteen which serves pretty decent food. My favorite place in the College is the College garden.
 

Campus Rating
My overall campus life at Zakir Husain College (Evening), New Delhi is pretty good. As the College crowd is very decent and you can find likeminded people here. There are a lot of clubs and societies like the eco club, the Neeti Saar which is the civil services society, the Arabic society, the women development cell, arts and culture society, photography society, etc. The College is involved in sports like badminton, cricket, football etc. There is one Annual College fest.

    My review for Zakir Hussain College is overall very good. Faculties are very supportive and the management does their work very sincerely. The means of transport from this College is very great. Metro is available in around 300 meters away from the College. Fees is also very affordable.
