Well Balanced Academics at RK University Rajkot

Overall Rating
Overall RK University Rajkot has offered a well balanced education. Coming from Delhi it wasn't easy to shift to Rajkot and that too in a lesser known private University. However, I am happy as the University is away from hustle-bustle. So, for those who want to study in peace and learn Engineering at RK University Rajkot has everything in that regard.
 

Academics Rating
With the kind of academic plan that University follows it has to come to success. Four semesters done so far and it has been good experience so far. In every semester we had new subjects and once the semester is over, we were given 6-7 weeks breaks, and University themselves promoted that even if we are going for internship then we shouldn't register ourselves for more than 4 weeks. This is because they want us to have some time off as well as which is also a sign of healthy academics.
The fee is so affordable and that was one of the reasons why I joined this university. Annual fee is around Rs. 75,000. I registered myself under SC quota so, I got 30% scholarship and students of Gujarat who are enrolled under the same category can get up to 50% scholarship.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties of our University won't let any doubts bother you. Of course one needs to stand up and ask. For those who go to them and seek genuine help, they are always available and the best part is even though the University is located in Gujarat and most professors are from the same state, they never let language become a barrier for anyone.
 

Placement Rating
CSE Engineering has good placements with an average package of 3LPA to 4 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostels are good but they are too strict. I stayed in the hostel and rooms are good. There are double sharing rooms where I lived in. It was tough to adjust with the food initially but my taste buds have finally developed the taste for the same.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus area is around 100 acres and there are cemented roads in the campus. They have amazing drainage system in the University. Coming from Delhi this was a whole new experience for me and thus I am mentioning this. There are sports facilities, cafes, and auditoriums and they are good.
 

Campus Rating
University pushes us to play sports for physical fitness and also there is an annual sports fest. The University has made tie-ups with top yoga instructors and even ‘Art of Living’ organizes meditation and yoga classes at our campus. So for me all these things have made me live in the campus in the best way possible.
