My Personal Opinion on SVU Kolkata: Best One in the City

Overall Rating
Swami Vivekananda University is very good in academics, infrastructure, and many more. The University offers various courses to the students. The placement record of this University is stunning. Several events and fests are also organised here.
 

Academics Rating
I chose B.Tech. For admission you must have PCM and score at least 60% in your 12th boards. You can take admission by filling out the admission form. The exams are held at the end of every semester.
The fee of my course is Rs. 56,000/- per year which means Rs. 28,000/- per semester. The students also need to pay Rs. 1000/- as an exam fee. This University also provides scholarships.
 

Faculty Rating
Most of the Faculty members are experienced in their respective field. The teachers of Swami Vivekananda University are good and helpful. The teaching methods include projectors, etc. The problem solving abilities of the faculty members are great. The students’ teacher ratio is high which make it difficult for teachers to provide attention to each and every student. Overall the faculty members are supportive.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, the University also has a placement cell which provides job opportunities to the students. Top companies visit the University such as TCS, Mahindra, SPCI, Infotech, etc. They provide an average package of 3 LPA to 5 LPA and the highest is 20 LPA to 25 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the University provides hostel facilities to the students. It has hostel facility for their students. The mess food is hygienic. I don’t have any personal experience about the hostel because I don’t live there.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The University campus is good. The University has many academic buildings, playground, library, gym, and a canteen. The classrooms are well cleaned with AC facilities. The campus also has seminar halls, auditorium, conference hall, etc. The University has lab facilities for students of various departments. Overall the campus of the University is very beautiful.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life at this University till now is great. The crowd of the University is enthusiastic. They conduct several events throughout the year such as Independence Day, Teacher's Day, Republic Day, etc. The overall campus life has been brilliant.

    Well I'm trying to get into medical field and then I found this University. There are so many good faculties and even the infrastructure is good. Spacious classroom, air conditioner available in every class, equipment available, access to the Library, etc. We get the entire semester book from our library. The gym is also available.     My experience at Swami Vivekananda University has been largely positive with University's peaceful campus. Here we get multiple courses and domains. I choose this University because of its positive educational and friendly environment.     Swami Vivekananda University Kolkata offers a unique system of academic excellence, comfortable, and a peaceful learning environment. It is a good educational Institution of this locality.     Swami Vivekananda University is really good for middle class students because of its fees structure, teachers are good and friendly, university is large and has so much vegetation in campus area, and cultural society is good.
