Swami Vivekananda University is really good for middle class students because of its fees structure, teachers are good and friendly, university is large and has so much vegetation in campus area, and cultural society is good. Now come to cons, some major cons are like university have lack of Maintenance and some faculty members are very arrogant and non cooperative plus in the time of SEM fees pay you have to wait in a vast line for no due form collection. Which so Frustrating for us. But negative and positive are both present in everything.

I am pursuing BCA from Swami Vivekananda University and this course is for those who love computers and programming. In this course you will learn java, c, c++, python etc. You have to get min 50% in 12th (with computer application as a main subject) to enroll in this course, if you have math in your 12th then it's good for you although BCA math is not so tuff to crack if you don't have then don't worry.

To be honest some faculty members are friendly, besides some of them are very arrogant. Specially the management is too weak but it's considerable because we are the 3rd batch and earlier there was few students who take this course but now total 300 student form BCA take admission in our university. Although teachers are brilliant and friendly even our department dean is taking our lectures and guess what he is just freaking genius teacher and so friendly teachers will push us to get success, which is quite surprising. But university has to change our department faculties except hod no one is friendly and good to take care of us.

I am in 1st year and I don't have enough idea about our resent placements but you will definitely get TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant etc. If you have 60% in your whole academic career then you will definitely get placement don't worry about this. But try to work with startups or small companies coz they will improve your skills. In BCA course your starting salary will be 20k to 25k per month but after 5 years your skill will decide your salary it can be 2lac per month.

In university you will get very good hostel facilities. Hostels are ragging free and wi-fi enabled although I’m not living in hostel so I can't say more about in but my friends told me that hostel infrastructure is well furnished. Hostel live is so enjoyable!

Swami Vivekananda University is super beautiful and close to nature. In campus there is a beautiful lake which is fully covered with wild lotus. In campus area there is a swimming pool, table tennis area gym etc. But medical facilities are not so well if you need medicine then you have to struggle. But in total university is extremely beautiful and our canteen food is just delicious plus cafeteria is also wide and have 3 floor including roof view.

Campus life is just awesome every year we celebrate freshers, annual fest, basant fest, winner fest etc. I remember in winter fest we just dance till our last breath and done so much fun. In campus there is a large mukta mancha (stage) where students perform so well and some of our teachers really sang superb! The bond between student and teacher is so strong in SVU. And spoiler alert out female teachers are so beautiful some of them are like models.
