Great Hostel Facilities in VIT Bhopal

Overall Rating
In VIT Bhopal, the course structure is well organised. The campus life is very diverse. Student from all over India are here so it will enhance your communication skill and you will get to know about their culture. The thing which I liked the most is Fully Flexible Credit System (FFCS) in which we can make our own time table. This University is 70 KM away from Bhopal.
 

Academics Rating
I am currently pursuing B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering with Specialisation in AIML because of its relevance in tech industries. To get admission in VIT Bhopal, candidates have to give VITEEE examination which is conducted by the University to enroll students for their four campuses. The campus is allocated according to the rank in the entrance exam. Eligibility criteria is 60% aggregate (in PCM) in Class 12th. In one semester, two exams are conducted one is Midterm examination and another is Term End Examination.
The fee structure for the courses vary according to the category they lie in. This category is made according to their rank in the entrance examination. There are five categories in total. The students who are in category 1, their tuition fee is Rs. 1,99,000/- per year. For category 2 it is Rs. 3,00,00/- per year and so on. There is caution fee of Rs. 3,000/- at the time of admission which will be returned at the time of completion of degree.
 

Faculty Rating
The good thing about this is University is that all the faculties have Ph.D. Teachers use PPTs along with whiteboards to teach. Teacher student ratio is nearly 1:30. Teachers are very supportive. They help students in their academic curriculum. The FFCS helps students to choose their desired teacher for respective courses. Students can make their own time table which means we can choose at what time we want to study a specific course by desired teacher.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, this University has a placement cell. It helps students for both getting internship and jobs. Usually, companies hire students in 4th year. The average package of the University is somewhere between 7 LPA to 8 LPA according to the officials. Companies like Microsoft, Intel, HP, TCS, Deloitte, Cognizant, Wipro, Zomato, Infosys, and so on visit the campus. They offer roles like AI Engineer, Data Scientist, Software Developer, etc.
 

Hostel Rating
There are in total 8 Boys’ Hostels (Block-8 is almost ready) and 2 Girls’ Hostels. There is also a special block for girls. Hostels are of two types-Premium and Normal Block. Rooms in hostels are of different occupancies, there are 6 Bedded, 4 Bedded, 3 Bedded and 2 Bedded rooms. These have two categories- Bunk and Flat bed. AC rooms are available. Hostel fee varies according to the rooms. For 4 Bedded Non-AC Premium room, the hostel fee is Rs. 1,34,000/- for 10 months. Wi-Fi, room cleaning services, and mess charges all are included in the fee.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus is very big. It is in 250 acres. There are 2 Academic Blocks, One lab Complex and Architecture block. There is also a multi-purpose hall. There is large space for students to play outdoor games. Seating capacity of normal class is of around 70 students. All the classes are equipped with projectors. Library is both in AB-1 and AB-2. There are auditoriums in both the Academic Blocks. There is also an outdoor auditorium. There are cafeteria near both the academic blocks.
 

Campus Rating
Overall, campus life is good. There are around 80 clubs. So, there is event going on every week. The main technical fest is ‘adVITya’ which is usually organised in 3rd week of February. It is of 3 days. There are two more fest- winter fest and summer fest. The events like Garba Night, Rangmanch, and other South Indian events are organised by respective state clubs. There are many technical clubs like AWS Club, Android Club, Data Science Club, etc. My experience is good till now regarding events.

    The University has very good and vibrant campus. The hostel, environment and teachers are good too. My relatives recommended me to join this University.     VIT Bhopal is a decent and good University and there are many good facilities like having good hostels, FFCS system, and the doctorate faculties to train the students for future. Also the placement stats of VIT Bhopal are decently good and students can take admission in this University. The campus is spread in 300 acres and is a lush green campus.
