Safe Campus Environment in Kamala Nehru College New Delhi

Overall Rating
My experience in Kamala Nehru College, New Delhi is very good. It has a good campus life and a very safe environment. I chose this College because of its reputation and there are very few Colleges in DU which offer Psychology. It is not very far from my hometown. The faculty is also very good and supportive.
 

Academics Rating
I am pursuing B.A (Hons.) Psychology. The eligibility criteria is 12th pass and qualifying CUET exam with 1 language and 3 domain subjects which should include Psychology. The CUET cut off for this College particularly my course is very high around 763 out of 800. The academics prepare us well for the real-life challenges as most of the knowledge that we gain is practical based. We have separate classes for practicals.
The fee is very less as compared to private Colleges. My annual fee is Rs. 15,000/- which is very less as compared to Psychology courses in other Colleges. Yes, there are scholarships for students who belong to economically weaker sections.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty is very good and well educated. Most of the faculty members have completed their education from JNU or some other reputable College. They teach us through PPTs or notes which they prepare themselves. The teacher to student ratio is also good. They are very supportive. They have bonding with every student and make them feel comfortable.
 

Placement Rating
There is a placement cell which provides us with internships opportunities. They make WhatsApp group for every department and provide us with the updates about jobs and internships. They also conduct annual fair where companies from all over India come to take part.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Our campus is good and compact. The canteen area and everything is very clean. Our campus has a good and big library. It also has a sitting area which is very pretty and most beautiful area of our College. We also have an auditorium in which most of the functions are organised. We also have movie screenings every week in our auditorium.
 

Campus Rating
My overall campus life is very good. The College crowd is decent and well mannered & they come from good backgrounds. There are many clubs in our College and students can join them depending on their interest. We also have north eastern clubs that promote their culture. Our College has an annual fest called ULLAS in which students from all over DU participate and enjoy. As KNC New Delhi is a girls College, so it provides a very safe campus environment.

    I have spent only one year at KNC New Delhi and it has been incredible so far. The College crowd is good and diverse and the bonding that students share with each other is commendable.
