'Ullas' is an Annual Fest of Kamala Nehru College New Delhi

I have spent only one year at KNC New Delhi and it has been incredible so far. The College crowd is good and diverse and the bonding that students share with each other is commendable. Each person you would meet at the campus would have a story of their own. The vibrant campus with even vibrant campus life has given me so much room to breathe. From the fests to seminars, everything holds its own importance.

The course I chose is B.A (Hons.) in Political Science, since; the degree aligns with my choice of career. I've never been more "woke" or politically aware of situations of the country and outside. The eligibility is based on the CUET cut-off. The exams are taken as per Delhi University semester exams. Along with that, assessments are taken by professors too.

The fee of my college is considerably less as it is a government college. The fee is taken on a yearly basis. Government scholarships are available for students in need.

The faculty has been nothing but great. My department is well known with a bunch of reliable professors. They hold tests, presentations, and assignments. From what I've noticed, being active in class helps. Responding to teachers well and critical thinking impresses the teachers and also helps build a good and healthy relationship with them. There are various workshops held, along with other things like Alumni meet or such, which truly helps the students. The teacher student ratio is good. There are three teachers who take our core subjects for one semester.

No hostel facilities are provided by the College as of yet.

Our College has an average infrastructure and is filled with greenery and plants. I like the flowers they bloom. The walls of the College are painted in yellow and red with intricate artwork on the walls. One of my favorite places has to be the Chaupal where all the students gather for a coffee break in their free time. The canteen serves various healthy and flavorful foods. The classes are moderately big with good number of fans. The auditorium is the most impressive since it has two floors.

Campus life is something that I often like to talk about. The vibe of the College is good and I have had a great experience there. The dance and the theatre society are often practicing for some or the other performance which adds life to the campus life at the College. There are many cats on-campus, and there are different names for each of them. The societies are the most impressive factor of KNC New Delhi and easily one of the best, I am a part of three societies and it makes me feel content knowing I'm a part of something valuable. Fests and events are electrifying. Ullas’25 was a truly exceptional fest and the knowing the hard work that goes into organising it is truly commendable.
