Good Infrastructure at IUST Pulwama

Overall Rating
IUST Pulwama is located near mountains and it has a beautiful scenery as well as good infrastructure. I actually chose it because I had heard about it a lot and it is considered the one of the best Institution in the state. I have no regrets at all after joining this University and I can say with confidence, it is the best choice.
 

Academics Rating
Academics in this University are good and focused particularly on Engineering. I can say if you will work hard then it is the best. We can see every year that its pass outs excel in every field. Recently many students got the jobs and one cleared UPSC as well.
Fee for B.Tech is Rs. 36,000/- per semester. If I include hostel and mess then it is nearly about Rs. 1,20,000/- per year.
 

Faculty Rating
I am in Civil branch and faculty is top notch in my branch. Also, they support students mentally and emotionally and hence, very supportive in nature. They are well qualified as well. They give chance to each student to participate in extra co-curricular activities. IUST Pulwama has very good faculty.
 

Placement Rating
Placements are average but has the scope to improve in the future.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostels are well maintained in which 3 people can share the same room and it is newly constructed.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure is too good as they have all the newly constructed buildings and they have a large library named ‘Rumi library’ which has almost over 1 lakh books. They also have playgrounds, well maintained classes, & green and lush parks inside campus. They also have canteen and bank inside the campus. If I had to rate the infrastructure, I would rate it 9/10 as far as my personal experience is concerned.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is good. It is not much crowded place. Many events and fests are organised by the University. This is overall a decent University which has everything a student requires, be it academic or extra co-curricular.
