My Personal Opinion on IUST Pulwama: All the Aspects

Overall Rating
This is a leading University for my course. The location and the environment of this University is good. It will enhance your learning experience. This University is quite good as compared to other Universities. IUST Pulwama offers various courses.
 

Academics Rating
I have chosen B.Tech in CSE. For admission in this University, the students should have completed class 12th with PCM and qualify JEE exam. After that, you have to fill the admission form. The admission process is quite simple. You have to visit the University and pay the course for the course allotted to you. There are 3 exams conducted per semester. The academics prepare the students’ for real life challenges.
The semester wise fee in IUST Pulwama of my course is Rs. 32,000/-. The admission fee is Rs. 2000/-. The discount is given to the students of EWS category. They don’t have to pay the tuition fee.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members of this University are very qualified and skilled. Most of the teachers have done Ph.D from prestigious Institutes like NITs or IITs. The use traditional teaching methods. The problem solving ability of the teachers are also good but can be improved more. The teacher to student ratio is well balanced. The students can approach the teachers outside the classrooms also.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, the University has placement cell. The placements of this University are average. A lot of companies visit our campus such as Bharat Petroleum, Paras Health, etc. The highest package offered is around 9 LPA and the average is 1 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, they provide separate hostel for both girls and the boys. The hostel fee is Rs. 6000/- per semester excluding mess charges. The timings of the hostel are 6 AM to 8 PM. I think the hostels are quite nice. I wish they also have gardens outside the hostel where we can play.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The location of the campus is best it is located at the mountains. The campus is full of greenery. There is separate building for different departments. The classrooms can accommodate 100 students. The campus has labs, seminar halls, auditorium, etc. The campus has 5 canteens inside the campus which provide variety of foods. They also have transportation facilities. My favorite thing is the sports department.
 

Campus Rating
Overall campus experience so far at IUST Pulwama is average. The crowd of the campus is huge. They organises fests and events almost once in a week such as Business fest, Fashion fest, and so on. I suggest others to check all the details before taking admission in this University.
