Overall Rating
I was always interested in the STEM field and Scalar School of Technology Bangalore uses a modern, industry aligned approaches. You should join this College if you're genuinely passionate about coding and ready to commit to a demanding journey. The campus is small and futuristic situated in the E-city among the tech companies. The class size is around 300 students per batch, so there are 2-3 batches depending on the number of students.
 

Academics Rating
I enrolled in 4-year Undergraduate program in Computer Science at SST Bangalore. To talk about eligibility, they conduct an aptitude test named NSET and after clearing this exam, there will be two rounds of interviews, basically it’s a general aptitude interview, taken by faculties or some industry experts. You must have 75% or above. There is a trimester pattern due to which the exams are quite frequent. You also have online exams of the degree that you are pursuing. The exams are quite competitive as compared to other Colleges. They are designed in a way that challenges you to think and implement code.
The fee for the complete program is nearly Rs. 25,00,000/-, consisting of tuition, hostel and mess fees. Basically, it's almost Rs. 6,00,000/- per year. After clearing the interview, you have to pay an admission fee of Rs. 50,000/-. Although if have done good in your academics in past or build some projects in your School, then there are chances that you may get scholarships based on your performance in School and as well as in NSET.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty consists of industry professionals who have either worked in companies or are working with them currently. Faculty over here have great knowledge of their respective domains, especially for DSA the faculty is great compared to other Colleges. The faculties will answer all your doubts whenever you ask them and they are available for you. There are super mentors and mentors who stay with you in hostel, they are there to assist you whenever you are stuck somewhere in academics. The teachers are super helpful and help you whenever you need them whether it be a strap idea or academic doubts.
 

Placement Rating
The College is just 2 years old so a complete batch has not passed as of now, so there is no official record for the placements, but there are records of internships, that is, almost 90% of students have secured internships in their 2nd year itself. Although some companies may prefer B.Tech over B.Sc.
 

Hostel Rating
The SST Bangalore has acquired PGs that act as their hostels and they are near the campus. The hostel is great in terms of cleanliness. We also have some play arenas for table tennis along with cafeteria, amphitheatre & reading room which is great if you want to spend some time enjoying. There are two messes, and one of them is called Uniworld. The food is decent. The gate of hostel closes at 10:30 PM. Overall, the hostel is great. There will be shuttles moving from hostel to campus daily whenever students need them.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus is situated in the Electronic City, Bengaluru. There is an innovation lab, associated for research works and side gigs, if anyone is interested. There is a basketball court and a cricket turf along with 2 badminton courts. My favourite place in the campus is the cafeteria which is situated in the basement of the College, where you can enjoy your snacks with friends.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is majorly focused on academics and the campus is on a smaller scale. The crowd here is mixed, some of them are highly talented, whereas some are good at sports. You can learn many things from them. There are majorly 3-4 clubs including AI/ML, Drone, and Robotics. The College has its own party at the end of each year, and a fest is conducted once a year. Overall, the campus life is decent.
