Overall Rating
So far, overall experience at DRNGPIT Coimbatore has been excellent. This Institute provides various courses that I have never imagined. Overall, I have zero regrets regarding taking admission here. This Institute also has high placement record.
 

Academics Rating
I chose Engineering field. When I took admission, I had the option of going for CSE but I chose AI. For admission in this Institute is through TNEA counseling. I easily got admission in this Institute. My course contains Machine Learning and all the latest AI concepts.
The fee of Bachelor of Engineering in DRNGPIT Coimbatore is Rs. 1,20,000/- per year. The examination fee is Rs. 4000/- per semester. There are many scholarship programs available for the students. Tamil Nadu Government has laid guidelines for SC/ST students so they get the concession.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members of this Institute are well educated. The educational background of the faculty members is good. They expect more from their students. They always ask us if we are into research and if not then will give us some research work. They prepare the students for the future.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, this Institute has placement cell. The sectors such as Technology, Finance, Retail, Corporate houses, and etc. get various placement opportunities. In 2025, the placement record was of 93% and this shows that the AI Engineers are in demand.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the Institute provides hostel facilities to the students. There are separate hostels for girls and the boys. The hostel timing for the girls is 6 PM and for the boys, the timing is 8 PM. I am from Coimbatore so I don’t live in hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The first thing that I look at infrastructure of DRNGPIT Coimbatore is it’s canteens as I am a big time foodie and this Institute has two canteens. All the blocks from block A to block E are architecturally built and have all the facilities. The campus has a large auditorium which has 1200 seats. The Institute also have a Football ground.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is somewhat hectic as our entire day spent at the Institute. The Institute organise an annual tech fest called Henosis and this is the biggest fest one can ever imagine. They also organise cultural fest called KANAM which is very beautiful. One thing that I have learned in this Institute is that this generation wants everything quick but in reality they should have some patient. I have enjoyed my campus life as I have made friends and I have been a part of the fests every single year.

    No student can be weary here as the joy that our campus life brings is so special that I don't have to sugar coat anything. Academics are very good at DRNGPIT Coimbatore and so are the placements. So, when these two things are sorted, everything automatically falls in place for students.     This is one of the best Institutes among the top Engineering Institutions. I am not comparing this Institute to others Institutes but the skill sets that our Institute provides is more than enough. The fee of this Institute is also affordable.     One can expect big things while studying in this Institute because our Institute provides all the facilities to the students. The information about the societies and the events are always shared on the social media handle. Apart from the studies, the students are taught to share their personal opinions and ideas to others.
