Nurturing Environment at SICET Ranga Reddy

Overall Rating
My experience at SICET Ranga Reddy was positive, especially due to the stream I choose. The reason for choosing this College was its autonomous status, updated curriculum, and good placements. The College stands out with its focus on emerging technologies like AI and Data science, offering better industry exposure. It’s affiliated by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, affordable, and ideal for students seeking practical learning with a decent return on investment in software-related careers. I had the best memories at this College.
 

Academics Rating
I choose B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) to pursue a career in software development. Eligibility requirement includes completion higher secondary education with a good score and qualifying TS EAMCET. The admission process includes counselling and document verification. Exams are conducted twice per semester. Academics are industry-aligned, with practicals lab and project-based learning, preparing students well for real-world challenges in coding, problem-solving, and technology application in modern industries.
I paid Rs. 95,000/- per year for my course at this College. SC / ST and EWS students get fee reimbursement. Scholarships like Telangana EPASS offer financial aid up to full tuition fee.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members of my course at this College are well-qualified, with many holding M.Tech or Ph.D degrees. They use a mix of teaching methods including blackboards, PPTs, online tools, and group discussion. Their problem-solving skills are strong, especially in coding and core subjects. The teacher-student ratio is around 1:20, making room for individual attention. Faculty members are approachable and very helpful towards doubts or projects, and maintain good rapport with students, contributing to a supportive academic environment.
 

Hostel Rating
The girls students are provided with hostel facilities, while boys are not allotted any hostel rooms.
 

Infrastructure Rating
SICET Ranga Reddy has a spacious campus located in Sheriguda, offering a peaceful academic environment. The campus includes multiple academic blocks for each department. Classrooms accommodate around 60 students and are equipped with AV aids like projectors. Other facilities include a well-stocked library, modern computer & engineering labs, seminar & conference halls, and an auditorium. Amenities like a canteen, sports ground, transport, medical room, and security are also available. My favorite is the CSE lab, which enhances hands-on learning.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life at this College vibrant and academic driven. The College crowd is diverse, friendly, and cooperative. There are several students clubs like the Coding Club, Cultural Club, and Sports Club; I am an active member of the Coding Club. The College conducts regular technical workshops, cultural programs, and sports events. Annual fest like Technotsav is the major highlight. Overall, my experience has been positive, offering a good mix of learning, fun and peer engagement.

    Coming to my experience at this institution they are well experienced faculty and their way of teaching is also good. The overall infrastructure was brilliant.     I wrote EAMCET then I got this college in branch of CSE (IoT) the branch is good the future is based on the IoT so I'm interested in this college which is why I have joined in this branch I suggest not to join in this college because of some faculties they won't explain in detail I suggest others not to join in this college because placements are also less compared to other colleges....
