VVCE Mysore is a private, independent engineering school founded in 1997. AICTE and UGC have authorised the institution. It has almost 3000 students. The college site is nicely organised and is covered with lush vegetation. They offer three PG programmes and six UG programmes. The Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, is connected to this institute. Sports, hospitality, transportation, cafeteria, and other forms of support are all provided. There is no ragging anywhere on campus. There is an anti-ragging unit on this campus to combat hazing. They offer top-notch instruction along with unrestricted placement assistance.
We offer 6 UG programmes, 3 PG programmes, and an MBA programme. I decided to major in computer science. Bangalore is the IT hub of India, which is why I chose this degree since I want to work in the IT industry. There are numerous admissions procedures. The first is that you must successfully pass the KCET exam. In addition, VVCE Mysore accepts JEE Main and COMEDK scores. Faculty assist you in resolving your questions throughout the exam. Exams for the semester can be passed with ease. They aid in placement and projects as well.
There are 36 teaching and 10 non-teaching faculty are working in our CSE department. Six of the faculty members who lecture have PhDs, and every single one have an M.Tech. The instructional methods used by our faculty are excellent. They neatly and clearly dispel our uncertainties. They support me in placement, projects, and the GATE exam now that I'm in my final year. I want to express my gratitude to our HOD, Dr. Yuvaraju B. N, for all of his cooperation. The founder of our institute is Dr. B. Sadashivegowda. They did a great job of running our school and motivating us to participate in extracurricular activities such as sports and other activities in addition to our studies.
As is well known, a simple engineering education will not prepare you for the workforce. They thus provide us with "Pre-placement training." Coding, aptitude, mock interviews, spoken English, and communication skills are all included in pre-placement training. They also provide us with study guides and a list of interview questions. A number of companies are visiting for placement, including Infosys Technologies, HCL, Ethunius, Hashedin Technologies, and Tricon. The highest package received by our institute students is 14LPA and ranges between 3.5 and 4LPA. Those with 60% or higher in all areas of schooling have a chance to be called in for an interview.
Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering hostel complex is enormous. Both boys and girls can stay at hostels. They charge a hostel fee of 70.000. Your costs must be paid at the time of entry. They only provide non-vegetarian food twice a week. 3 times as much food is provided. The hostel also has other amenities including a lift, water purification support, electrical backup support, and a cleaner who comes to clean our rooms every day. Godrej almirah, a study table, a chair, and all other equipment are provided. Wi-Fi is available on the hostel campus. Hostel life is really peaceful.
In comparison to other institutions in Mysore, our college's infrastructure is rather small. However, they offer every type of amenity imaginable, including sporting facilities for football, cricket, and tennis. The classrooms in the academic building are modern and equipped with projector systems. The laboratories have air conditioning. There is a sizable auditorium present. A library with a study room adjoining. There are also other buildings including the cafeteria, canteen, and gym. Although the cafeteria is modest, all cuisine is offered there.
At VVCE Mysore, campus life is quite enjoyable. Our college holds its annual "Vidyuth" festival every year. A division of the institute called "ICITEE" is celebrated this year in Mysore to encourage people to water plants and plant trees. The institute also has an NCC and NSS department. There are other departments, such as student alumni, a dance club, and a cultural club. In addition, we observe national holidays like Independence Day and Republic Day as well as Kannada Rajostava. They treat me like a member of the family, and last, I want to thank all the faculty.
