JLU Bhopal Offers Scholarship to Students

Overall Rating
My overall experience Jagran Lakecity University, Bhopal is amazing. The campus is so pretty and large. I chose this college because it is one of the highest ranked private colleges in Madhya Pradesh and the law and faculty here is too good. In addition, this college helps a lot in providing placement. That is the reason I choose this college. The reason I did not choose other colleges but this is that it is affordable while other colleges demand extra fees.
 

Academics Rating
The course chosen by me is B.A.LL.B (Hons.). The motive behind this is I want to be a lawyer and I am so interested in the field. The entry requirements are good academics. They take an interview and on the basis of that they select the students eligible for this course. Exams are not that tough in my view. They conduct competition like moot court and debate that help us in dealing with real life challenges.
The fees for my course is Rs. 1,90,000/- P.A and additional is Rs. 35,000/- as admission fees. Tuition fee is Rs. 60,000/- along with other additional charges. I got an scholarship on the basis of my 12th grade. The students who achieve 90% in boards get - 80% scholarship, and the students who obtained 80%+ get 60% and as follows.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty is so good and experienced. The method of teaching is either on white board or through projectors with presentations and word documents. They also include group discussions and presentation for engagement in classroom. We don't have that much good bonding with them as we get very less time with them. However, they are approachable if we have any problem. The student teacher ratio in Jagran Lakecity University, Bhopal is 1 teacher for 30 students.
 

Placement Rating
I don't know much about placement as I'm only in 2nd year right now but still we've been promised with 100% placement guarantee.
 

Hostel Rating
I'm not living in college hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of Jagran Lakecity University, Bhopal is so elegant. It's a huge campus in which different block are built. Each block teaches a particular course. In addition, we have a ground for box Cricket, Volleyball, Football, Basketball, and many more. A huge appetite area is there which is so comfortable for all the students. A huge pyramid shape library is there. My personal favourite place in JLU Bhopal is the Appetite area. However, it does not add anything to my academic experience but for mental peace, we can chill there.
 

Campus Rating
My overall campus life is good. The crowd here is so classy. There are so many clubs for dance, music, placement, etc. and they conduct activities every Wednesday, and train the people who are interested for AIU. They conduct various extracurricular activities like JLU got talent and many more. My experience about the campus life is so good because the campus here is very beautiful and well attached with nature.

  • If you want to join a private university then JLU is a good option

    Unfortunately, I did engineering from JLU Bhopal and little did I know that JLU is best for mass media, journalism and Law. Their school of law has done exceptionally well in such a little time. The engineering campus is more of an isolated one as the university is operating from two campuses. I joined the college in 2014 and it was renamed a year before and therefore a lot of construction was going on for the first two years after I joined.   • Not much rewards for studying at JLU

    JLU is a thing that has the best of reputations but in reality is nothing but a common place like others. The university glitters better than gold but as they say all that glitters is not gold. There are no eligibility criteria for JLU admission to any of its courses as one can take the admissions at will.   • Jagran Lakecity University was badly off

    One must have heard about the quote that beggars can never be choosers and that is what happened with me as I failed to get admissions elsewhere and the newly established university Jagran Lake University was where I decided to take admissions. 53% in 12th is what I got and still they were more than happy to take me as they took 90,000 extra from me in the name of donations.   • Most people will agree that JLU is way below par

    JLU on paper looked like should have been on course to become one of the top universities in Bhopal but that hasn’t happened and there are reasons for it. Jagran Lakecity University Bhopal has fell short on academics and placements because rest other things they have taken care of very well. Be it hostel facilities for outsiders or even the entire infrastructure of the campus. They are managing two campuses and both of them are class apart.
