My Academic Journey in JLU Bhopal

Overall Rating
JLU Bhopal is definitely a good University. We have one of the best campuses, best crowd, and best placements also. The placement cell looks after each department and the management of the University is also student friendly. The main attraction is the academics but students have full freedom and extracurricular activities are never ignored here as we are encouraged to participate in them.
 

Academics Rating
The School of Law is the most serious department and our classes begin at 9:00 AM and the lecture is held till lunch. Every week a seminar is held. Also, we are taken to Bhopal High Court during important events so academics here are a full circle that gives us both knowledge and exposure. It's my second year and our moot competitions are lines up and students who do well at the University level are even given the opportunities for International moot competitions.
The fee of my course in JLU Bhopal is around Rs. 2,00,000/-. The University provides scholarship to the students who have score good marks in their class 12th boards.
 

Faculty Rating
All the faculties here are expert like the one who taught us Corporate Law. All the faculty members have good knowledge in their respective field. My experience with the faculty members has been excellent till now as most of the faculty members are friendly and makes the class interesting by cracking jokes. They also share their experience and some of the funny moments that they have experienced in their life.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, the University has placement cell. The cell helps students in providing internships and also provides placement opportunities.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, University provides hostel facilities to the students. I stay at a PG but the University’s hostels are better.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure is one of the reasons why I have chosen this University. There are around 14 to 15 buildings which include departmental buildings, admin buildings, cafeteria, mess, gym etc. There are two cafeterias and they provide food at a reasonable price. The classrooms are huge and have the capacity to accommodate around 100 students at a time. In my department, there is a moot court room. The campus has auditorium, conference room, library, etc. The University also provides sports facilities to the students. I spend most of my time in the library.
 

Campus Rating
The students of my department have to be involved in research things. The JLU Bhopal organise various extracurricular activities which is held till the evening. We have Cultural & Techno fest. The University conducts a fest called Riwaz 3.0 which I witnessed last year.

    JLU Bhopal is a crowded University. It is best known for media courses. I am having a wonderful experience till now. The University conducts fests for the enjoyment of the students. It also took us to the Bhopal High Court because it was a part of our curriculum. The placements of this University are one of the reasons I took admission here.     My overall experience Jagran Lakecity University, Bhopal is amazing. The campus is so pretty and large. I chose this college because it is one of the highest ranked private colleges in Madhya Pradesh and the law and faculty here is too good. In addition, this college helps a lot in providing placement.     JLU Bhopal takes the #1 spot among Bhopal's best universities in 2020. In 2015, JLU received recognition as a Global League Institution at the House of Commons in London, United Kingdom.   • If you want to join a private university then JLU is a good option

    Unfortunately, I did engineering from JLU Bhopal and little did I know that JLU is best for mass media, journalism and Law. Their school of law has done exceptionally well in such a little time. The engineering campus is more of an isolated one as the university is operating from two campuses. I joined the college in 2014 and it was renamed a year before and therefore a lot of construction was going on for the first two years after I joined.   • Not much rewards for studying at JLU

    JLU is a thing that has the best of reputations but in reality is nothing but a common place like others. The university glitters better than gold but as they say all that glitters is not gold. There are no eligibility criteria for JLU admission to any of its courses as one can take the admissions at will.
