Overall Rating
JLU Bhopal offers a lot of courses but none is close to its Journalism and Mass Communication Program. From top media houses to PR events in Delhi, Mumbai, and other cities we are sent for practical exposure. No other courses have this kind of facility. I have searched for a lot of other options before joining this University. If students need good practical exposure in the world of PR, branding, etc. then this University is best for them.
 

Academics Rating
For admission, the students have to score at least 60% in their class 12th boards. Journalism doesn't just mean finding stories and doing content writing for the stories. It has a much wider scope which includes PR and Branding. Our course mostly depends on the practical learning and the attendance isn’t that compulsory like other courses.
The fee of Bachelor of Journalism & Mass Communication is Rs. 1,60,000/- per year.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members of JLU Bhopal are good and have Ph.D. Our faculties have done several things for us and they know that our course doesn't require a strong theoretical foundation but it requires practical knowledge which we can gain by attending the workshops. So, they take us to various events and also provide good mentorship to us. There are around 140 students in our department and 16 to 18 faculty members.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, the University has placement cell. Most of the students start their own business and some students find a way to work with the top media houses.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus of JLU Bhopal offers every facility which is required in our course. There are around 10 labs dedicated to our departments such as the Media lab, Animation lab, BFA lab, Special Editing lab, etc. The campus offers various sports facilities such as Tennis court, etc. A swimming pool is also there. Overall, the infrastructure of this University is great.
 

Campus Rating
My campus life till now is amazing. The University conducts various events and Carnival fest for the students. It hosts an event which is dedicated to our department named JLU International Festival of Media & Design. So far, I am enjoying the campus life of this University.

    JLU Bhopal is a crowded University. It is best known for media courses. I am having a wonderful experience till now. The University conducts fests for the enjoyment of the students. It also took us to the Bhopal High Court because it was a part of our curriculum. The placements of this University are one of the reasons I took admission here.     My overall experience Jagran Lakecity University, Bhopal is amazing. The campus is so pretty and large. I chose this college because it is one of the highest ranked private colleges in Madhya Pradesh and the law and faculty here is too good. In addition, this college helps a lot in providing placement.     JLU Bhopal has changed my life in many ways. It has a gorgeous campus where I literally want to come to the campus daily. Secondly, the University focuses on both theoretical knowledge and practical knowledge. I have learned so many things in my course. So overall, my learning experience at this University is great.     JLU has a great campus. The campus life offers so much and I wanted to make most of it during my academic journey. Our University has provision for entrance exam preparations as all the material and resources are available for the same. The classes are held till 5:00 PM.
