Shree Agrasain College Howrah: One of the Most Affordable College of West Bengal

Overall Rating
Shree Agrasain College is one of the best colleges in Howrah. It offers a very good quality of education. I specially choose this college because of the fees as it is very affordable than any other private college. All the facilities in the college are very good. The college is also ragging free and it offers good placements.
 

Academics Rating
I have opted for B.Com. (Hons.). You can get admission into the college if you have scored more than 50% in your 12th examination. Exams are conducted on semester basis.
B.Com. (Hons.) first semester fee is around Rs. 14,000/-. At the time of admission you have to pay Rs. 23,000/- with includes semester fees and admission charges. The college offers scholarships like Swami Vivekananda scholarship etc.
 

Faculty Rating
All the faculty members and teachers in the college are very good and well qualified. All the important notes are provided by the teachers in the college groups. The problem solving skills of the teachers are very good. There are approximately 50 students in a class and a teacher of every subjects are there in fact extra teacher are there per subject. My personal experience with the entire faculty is very good.
 

Placement Rating
The college provides placement on the basis of student’s knowledge, aptitude and method of study. Many companies have visited the college for placements.
 

Hostel Rating
There is no hostel in the college.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus of the college is very big. The campus has a single building which can accommodate a large number of students. The locality of the college is also very good as it is situated near the Liluah railway station. All the classrooms are properly air conditioned and the sitting arrangements are also very comfortable. Each classroom can accommodate 50 to 60 students at once. The college also have a fully air conditioned library. It also has its own canteen that provides good quality of food which is served at a very low price.
 

Campus Rating
My overall campus life is very good and very motivating as all the teachers are very friendly. The college crowd is also manageable as the college is very big. There are clubs in the college. The college organises sports event regularly with options like cricket, football, basketball, swimming etc. The college also organizes extra co-curricular activities regularly and you can take part in it to build your overall personality. The college organises their annual fest which is eye catching for the students. My personal experience in the college is very good, I highly recommend you to take admission in this college.

    I definitely had a satisfying experience at Shree Agrasian College, Howrah, West Bengal. The reason I chose this institute is because it did not have a compulsory 75% attendance criteria, which was very beneficiary for me as I am preparing for my CAT exam along with B.Com course. Other than this Calcutta University is a prestigious university over all India.     Experience of this college was good regarding studies and faculty was supportive. My main reason to choose this college was it is under Calcutta university and it was close to my house which made it easier for me to travel.
