BVDU Pune's Annual Fest is Referred to as Alkemy

Currently I am in my second year. My experience in this University so far is good. One thing that I like here is the environment. The faculties, staff, and crowd everything is so great and anyone will enjoy studying here. To be honest, there are some drawbacks as well which is there in every University. The seniors and friends make me very happy and I will never regret about my decision. If you wish to build a great career in the future, then I would highly recommend you to join this University.

I chose B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering. Here, we have more courses such as CSE, CSE-AIML, CSBS, IT, etc. I chose this because I want to go in the technological field. At the time of my admission, there were no eligibility criteria. That time you just have to submit your class 12th Marksheet and scorecard of the competitive exam. Admission process is simple, you just have to visit the campus and fill out the admission form. In semester exams, 2 units will come with practicals. In one year, two semester exam will be conducted.

In BVDU Pune, the yearly fee has to be paid. The fee of my course is Rs. 2,20,000/- and it gets increases 5% every year. The fee is acceptable for me because no other University has such low fees. The University also provides scholarships to the students.

The faculty members of BVDU Pune are just great. They are not just teachers, they are like our friends. At academic level, they have to be strict but if you share any problem whether it is related to academics or not, they will help and guide you. The teachers teach us from books and notes. The teachers will also provide real life examples which will increase your knowledge. At first, I was too shy to interact with them but they encouraged and helped me and made me a extrovert. Yes, we do have a placement cell. Experts have been coordinating and operating it to ensure and provides good interview experiences to students. The University offers pre-placement program right from the 3rd semester. It held for 2 to 3 semester as of now, they guided the students in every aspect so that the students get good placements. According to the cell, not only academics are important, the students also have to improve their skills such as communication, etc.

Yes, the University provides residential facilities to the students. The hostel is 300 to 400 m away from the campus. I heard a lot of good and bad things about it. I don’t live in the hostel but overall, the hostels are good.

The infrastructure of BVDU Pune is great. There are 3 floor for Engineering and 2 floors for Management studies. There's a huge quadrangle in between the campus. We have a huge parking lot which often called a basement. The basement is so huge, various program held there. The University also provides sports facilities for games like Football, Volleyball, Cricket, etc.

Talking about campus life, it is so good than what I have expected. The campus crowd is good. The seniors handle various clubs of the University such as Technical club, Cultural club, E-Sports, etc. The University conducts hackathons for the students and the NSS unit is also there. The University organise an annual fest called “Alkemy” which held for more than 10 days. It includes various competitions such as sports, dance, music competitions, etc. Various events are conducted on a monthly basis.
