Overall Rating
Overall campus and staff are pretty good and met my expectations although there are few drawbacks about my College which I personally think should be monitored and fixed as soon as possible. So far, I have completed 2 years in this College and I can safely say that there is no bullying or harassment done from both the staff and students. All the staffs are very friendly and the academic hours are flexible.
 

Academics Rating
I chose B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. To get enrolled in this course, you must have minimum 35% in Math and Science in your class 12th boards. I got admitted through Anna University counseling. Additional skills such as programming language and basic knowledge about networking will help you a lot and gets you to safer side. The class tests are conducted in a liberal manner to check the status of the students’ academic wise.
The fee of my course is Rs. 45,000/- per semester which is Rs. 90,000/- per year. The fee for the students who got admission through management quota is high. The College provides discount and scholarship to the students which help them a lot.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members of VCTW Namakkal are very friendly and supportive. Apart from that, they have very good and unique teaching skills. Most of the teachers are Ph.D scholars and the assistant professor has done Masters in their respective field. Some of the teachers also have industrial experience. The teachers are approachable and we can contact them if we have any doubt. The teaching methods include PPTs, etc. They also take us to the labs which provide us practical exposure.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, the College has placement cell. The placements are not up to the mark. The cell also conducts placement training for every student regardless of their academic background. Top MNCs also visit our campus for recruitment. The companies only select the students who do not have any backlog and high CGPA holders.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the College provides hostel facilities to the students. The hostels are quite expensive but they are really worth it. Every complaint will be reviewed and solved within 2 days or less and mess food is the best part as we have 3 different menus for both vegetarian and non vegetarian students. The hostel gets cleaned every day in the morning and always follows a friendly environment with discipline.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of VCTW Namakkal is pretty good but since the College is located inside the village and there is no strong signal. Every department has their own classrooms and labs. The College provides great sports facilities such as Football court, Tennis court, etc. The agriculture area and construction like set up is also there which provides real time field work experience for the students who are pursing core courses.
 

Campus Rating
I entered the campus with a very heavy heart because it is far from home and a complete different environment where I know no one. But now, my campus experience is good and I have made a lot of friends. The College conducts event called Sahana which provides a platform to the students to showcase their talents. Every year, a 2 days Sports day is also conducted. Apart from this, the College conducts various events and programs such as cultural day, hosteller day, annual day, etc. Various festivals are also celebrated on a large scale.

The hostels are good and it conducts various fests for the enjoyment of the students apart from the academics. If you also want a good campus life than you can take admission in this College.
