My Academic Journey in KGCE Karjat

Overall Rating
The environment of KGCE Karjat is good. This College is good in all the aspects such as good infrastructure, good faculty, etc. The lectures are conducted on regular basis. The College offers good placements to the students. Apart from the academics, various extracurricular activities are organised in this College. It was established in 1994.
 

Academics Rating
I basically passed my Diploma and score low marks, this made me to take admission in this College. For admission, the students have to score around 70 to 80% in Diploma. The admission process is quite simple. The College conducts 2 unit tests and one semester exams. The academics of this College is average, you have to study on your own. The College was established in 1994.
The fee of my course is around Rs. 61,000/- per year for OBC students. The College also provide discount to the students who belong to reserved category. The registration fee is not that huge.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members of this College are very supportive and well experienced. They conduct regular lectures and practicals. They use traditional teaching methods. The problem solving ability of the teachers are average. The teacher to student ratio is good and my bonding with the teachers is average. The teachers solve the doubts of the students.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, the College has placement cell. The placements are good.
 

Hostel Rating
The College offers separate residential facilities to both male and female students. I don’t stay in hostel, I live in PG.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus of KGCE Karjat is huge. The classroom has good seating capacity but they are not up to the mark. The campus has canteen which provides affordable and good quality of food to the students. The College has library with good seating capacity, air conditioned seminar hall, etc. The gym is also there.
 

Campus Rating
My overall campus life was average. The campus crowd was good and diverse. The College conducts an annual fest and various festivals are celebrated here. I hope in future the College organise more fests and events for the students. It has several committees which solve the problems of the students. The students can participate in inter College sports events conducted by the College.
