Overall Rating
I have taken admission in University Maharaja College Jaipur this year. The infrastructure of this College is well maintained. This is a College for boys only. It has great sports and academic facilities. It is very easy to commute to the College. It has NCC unit as well. I chose it because of the campus facilities and NCC. The students have to maintain the attendance for the practical exams.
 

Academics Rating
I chose B.Sc in Mathematics. I had Physics, Chemistry, and Math in my class 12th. The admission is done on the merit basis. For my course, the cut off was around 85%. The admission process is very simple, you just have to come to the College and submit the required documents. The exams are conducted twice in a year which is held around the month of August. The College offer limited number of courses.
The fee of this College is very low as compared to other Colleges. The fee of my course is around Rs. 9000/- per year. It provide discount to the economically week students, if you will show the family income certificate.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members of University Maharaja College Jaipur are different for theory and the practical examination. They are very experienced. The vice principal of this College also helps the students in solving their problems. Practical teachers are very experienced and conduct the experiments in an interesting way. The student to teacher ratio is 60:1. They solve the doubt of the students and solve the numerical in a very interesting and conceptual way. Most of the teachers teach us with the help of blackboards. They are very approachable and you will not face any problems if you will regularly attend the classes.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, the College has placement cell. The packages offered are not up to the mark. Most of the students go for their further studies. One of the alumni was selected in ISRO.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the College offers accommodation facilities to the students. There is Meena hostel, Gokhale hostel, etc. The students can also live in the nearby PGs. I am a day scholar so I don’t live in hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of this College is very good. The campus is spread over a wide area of land and it is located in Manak Chawk near Hawa Mahal, Jaipur. There is a separate department for BCA students. It has several huge classrooms. The campus has library which is equipped with several kind of books, ground, Basketball ground, etc. The canteen is also available which serves good quality of food to the students.
 

Campus Rating
My campus life in this College is good till now. There are around 2500 students. There are several clubs but I am not a part of any of them because I am in NCC. Various extracurricular activities and events are conducted here such as Fresher’s party, etc. The campus crowd is very friendly.
