AKGEC Ghaziabad Provide Good Hostel Facilities to the Students

Overall Rating
Currently I am studying at AKGEC Ghaziabad. The classes are held regularly and the teachers are also helpful. In the first year, odd Saturdays are off for the students. From the second year onwards, the students have to come only 5 days a weak. The campus is not that big. The students are required to maintain 75% of attendance to sit in the exams.
 

Academics Rating
I chose B.Tech in CSE. I chose this course because I have an interest in it. For admission, the students have to qualify JEE Main and then appear in the UPTAC counseling which is conducted by AKTU. The students can also take direct admission in this College. The admission process is quite simple. The College conducts semester exams, pre University tests, and sessional exams.
My fee of my course is Rs. 1,20,000/- per year. AKGEC Ghaziabad offers scholarship to the students. The scholarship amount ranges from Rs. 50,000/- to Rs. 61,000/-.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members of this College are good. They put a lot of efforts to teach us and will help you whenever you want. The professors have done Ph.D or Masters in their respective field. They also provide study notes to the students. The teaching methods include PPTs, smart boards, projectors, blackboard, etc. Each teacher use different teaching method. Most of the teachers are approachable.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, the College has placement cell. Several renowned companies visit the campus for recruitmen. Mostly the students apply for off campus placements. The cell conducts placement drive for the students. The companies offer good packages to the students.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the College offers accommodation facilities to both the male and the female students. The mess is there which offers variety of food to the students. The rooms are available in single, double, and triple occupancy. The fee varies as per the type of room but the fee for the triple seater room is around Rs. 1,20,000/-. The hostel rules are strict for female students.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus is spread over 40 acres of land and it is located at Delhi Meerut Expressway. The campus has different block for different departments. The campus has fully air conditioned library, labs, seminar hall, amphitheatre, canteens, etc. The College also offers sports facilities to the students. The whole campus is Wi-Fi enabled and it has fully air conditioned classrooms. My favorite place is the open gym.
 

Campus Rating
My campus life till now is good. The campus crowd is average. The College conducts limited number of fests and events but you can go to others College to participate in the events. It conducts a Sports fest for the students. I am not that extrovert so that the small event that takes place in the campus is enough for me. The societies are really good, you can also join them. In the Coding society, the seniors will guide very well. The cultural societies are also good and will make your campus life more fun,

    The infrastructure of Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College, the faculties, staff and the opportunities this college provide are just top notch. These are a few reasons to choose this college although there are multiple reasons. The difference that I found from other college is there strict environment and punctuality.
