My Candid Views on CIT Ranchi

Overall Rating
I have participated in several events and cultural activities and that is why my experience at this Institute is good. The environment here is good for studies. There are several labs for different purposes. The faculty members are really good. It is affiliated to Jharkhand University of Technology Ranchi. I would recommend others to do proper research about the Institute before taking admission.
 

Academics Rating
I chose B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering. For admission, the students are required to qualify JEE Main exam. The students can also take direct admission in this Institute. The academics prepare the students to face real life challenges. You can also prepare for GATE exam. Exams are conducted frequently.
The fee of my course at CIT Ranchi is Rs. 41,000/- per semester. The annual fee of my course is around Rs. 89,950/-. The students are also required to pay the examination fee separately. Scholarship is also available for the students.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members of this Institute are really good. They have good educational background. The problem solving abilities of the teachers is quite good. The student to teacher ratio is quite decent. My bonding with the teachers is good. They teach the students very well. They solve all the doubts of the students.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, there is a placement cell for the students. The placements related to my course are average.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, CIT Ranchi offers residential facilities to the students. There are more than 100 rooms present at the hostel. The mess is available but the quality of food is not up to the mark. The hostel fee is Rs. 30,000/- per month. All the students are required to enter the hostel before 7:00 PM. Strict action will be taken against those who fail to do so.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The structure of the academic blocks is very good. The campus is huge and it is located in a good locality. The classroom has the seating capacity around 70 students. The Institute offers sports facilities for games Cricket, Badminton, Kabaddi, etc. My favorite thing is the academic blocks and the environment of the campus. Overall, the infrastructure is great.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is good so far at this Institute. There are around 900 students studying in this Institute. Various clubs are present which you can join as per your interest. Various fests, events, Fresher’s party, are organised here. We also celebrate festivals like Holi, Diwali, etc. My campus life is quite memorable and I have made several memories here.

    My hometown is Jharkhand, that’s why I choose to study in Ranchi. CIT is a much known college in Jharkhand. This college is fully dedicated to those students who really want to achieve something in future. I suggest students residing in Jharkhand should come and study here.
