What Every Student Should Know About CIT Ranchi

Overall Rating
My experience in this Institute is great. The infrastructure is average and the campus offers several facilities to the students. One of relative suggested me to take admission in this Institute. The fee here is also affordable and the admission process is quite easy as well. You can also take admission here. It is affiliated to Jharkhand University of Technology.
 

Academics Rating
I chose B.Tech in CSE in CIT Ranchi. For admission, the students must have passed their class 12th boards with PCM. The duration of each semester is of 6 months. There will be 2 mid-term exams and one end-term exams. You can also take admission online. Various seminars are conducted for the students to gain more knowledge and practical exposure about the subject. Overall, the academics are good.
The fee of my course is around Rs. 36,000/- per semester. The fee gets increases every year. The students also have to pay admission fee which is of Rs. 10,000/-. The Institute does not provide financial aid to the students but they can avail E-kalyan scholarship.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members of my course are good. They have friendly nature and they teach us with the help of blackboard. The problem solving abilities of the teachers are not up to the mark. The teacher to student ratio is 1:60. I think my bonding with the teachers is good but I don’t have that much of good bond with the HOD. Overall, the teachers are good and solve all the doubts of the students.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, the Institute has placement cell. The placements are not up to the mark. Every student gets a chance to sit in the placement drive. I have given an interview in a company but got rejected.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, CIT Ranchi provides hostel facilities to the students. There are separate hostel for male and female students. The rules are not that strict. The students are required to be back at the hostel by 8:00 PM. I don’t have much information about it because I am a day scholar.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus is located at Cambridge Village, Tatisilwai, Ranchi. The campus is clean and well maintained. There are around 5 buildings in the campus which includes libraries, labs, class rooms, seminar halls, open auditorium, sports room, workshop, garden area, office block, etc. The Institute also has canteen which serves good food to the students, medical facilities, etc. My favorite place is the roof at the building because it gives the best view of the campus.
 

Campus Rating
My campus life experience at this Institute is average. Everything is going good. The campus is not that much crowded. There are various clubs such as Dias club, Happy club, etc. It conducts various extracurricular activities for the students which also include sports day, genesis program, etc. Various festivals are also celebrated here such as Diwali, Holi, etc.

    I have participated in several events and cultural activities and that is why my experience at this Institute is good. The environment here is good for studies. There are several labs for different purposes. The faculty members are really good. It is affiliated to Jharkhand University of Technology Ranchi. This college is fully dedicated to those students who really want to achieve something in future. I suggest students residing in Jharkhand should come and study here.
